Well, I do know a guy who makes furry porn for cash and it eats him up inside. He'll do no work for a good chunk of the time and then do a shit load of it. This patreon is a bit of biggish social benefit for the unemployed and lazy So, he will stick to his teeth and claws so as not to lose it and will invent more and more stupid stories

I'd say the patreons paying a provable liar money every month to get nothing in return, then believing said lies about delays. Hell, the patreon supporters are the root cause of him dragging his feet and delaying. I think the people going around using the arguments about a free game, defending the delays,etc are actually patreon supporters. . Then they read the thread and see they are basically getting called idiots 50x a day on the thread. So it's rubbing them the wrong way. The truth tends to sting a bit.

Well.. ICSTOR doesn't have a boss. He's his own boss. He knows that if he don't deliver there will eventually be 0 patreons and 0 income. It will take time ofcourse. But he know this. We are complaning because we love this game and we do care for him, all we want is updates on a regular basis and let things go back to normal state. With his new medication and his post it seems very optimistic, but I'm not naive, I'll wait untill I actually see results.

Two points.

One. Something to think about. No one knows the patron turnover rate. Many here are amazed that ICSTOR has INCREASED his absolute patron number in the last 12 months despite not releasing anything. But, this may not be an indication of Patron stupidity. Even stupid people want to have a feeling of a good return on their investment. Zero updates over 9 months will not have gone unnoticed by them. So many may actually have quit. BUT, for every old patron who quits, two new patrons may have just discovered the game.

ICSTOR could have had twice as many patrons be now if he had regularly updated. The current figure of 7000+ doesn't necessarily tell the whole story.

In any case, I think it's safe to assume that almost eveyone here is downloading and enjoying the game for free. Under those circumstances bitching about the pace of updates is an laughably entitled attitude, really.
