It's a situation where if you are leaning in the same direction as the story, of course you're having fun, but if you try to go off the rails, you're gonna have a bad time.

Yeah fair but even though there are choices it's still a story told by someone else. Players can't do whatever they want. You never agree to 100% of MC's actions, it depends on the dev's sensibility

I mean it would make more sense if the game opened up with you already dating Rosie when you get your powers. It would probably entirely solve the expectations problem if their intent is for Rosie to be this fucking anchor you can't get away from without great effort.

As it stands, you figure out you have powers when you're a bachelor and these girls are unattached or at least before they've sealed the deal with anyone. It creates a perception of missed opportunities the dev doesn't want you to pursue.

In a game with mind control as a focus, you've got this railroad pointed at a girl who is already, without any mental influence, SO INTO YOU that you can treat her like total trash repeatedly and she will never give up on you. What is the point?

Well not me, only card I have that SS would accept is a company one and that won't happen.
So I guess we all will have to wait for 0.23 ( the full version of this updated ) and won't get to play 0.225 ( the beta ).
