Sorry but to progress I need to reach corruption 40 but I am just at 20. What choices should I make to increase this value? Is there a value to “manipulate” to Cheat and get to 40?

Since the leveling above level 2 is currently just temporarily implemented, the events are not necessarily made for raising stats at higher levels. If you want to cheat the stats, you can activate the Cheat Mod in the Mod Manager, which is accessible from the main menu with the second left button in the bottom left corner of the screen. After activating the mod, a cheat menu becomes available in the journal after loading your save.

I'm up to level 5 but I don't see appreciable development!

with an overview over all events, but that one doesn't include the content of the events, only the conditions needed for them to appear, the variants, possible decision trees and stat changes.
