nooo! i wanted to play as leo :/
the whole reason this game stood out was cause it had a male protag who was actually written well, even for an ntr game. i just hope the female pov is only for a few scenes or certain situations, not a full switch :(
Well like someone has mentioned previously both of the upcoming games are female protag's. If scenes are happening to both of the main characters I don't see why it matters if you play a male or female. Leo is a little better then Hayato but he's not that great either. Every female in the game could kill him in 3 seconds flat lol.

Who cares about his power level, the cool thing about him is that he was principled and had balls even if obviously he wasn't at the level of some of the girls. That was refreshing and made you more invested in his relationship with the girls.

When an NTR game MC is male, majority of the time they are idiotic, indecisive. confused and WEAK. He might not be idiotic but he is weak physically and mentally. This is a world where demons and humans are battling for supremacy so power is important. And not only is he physically weak, he is weak when it comes to the temptations of Kurone (Can't really blame him for that I guess.) But Leo holds Luna back because she constantly has to protect him. She wouldn't have ended up cursed in the first place if it wasn't for Leo. Leo is the weak link in this entire game period. He might not be as bad as most male MC's but he is still pretty bad.

It doesn't matter if the MC is male or female if both characters are getting scenes. That's how I look at it at least. Also I don't self insert so male or female doesn't matter to me.

That's not even true - this is you projecting. The game literally starts with him doing battle and putting himself in danger to rescue a female friend.
The main plot is literally about his willingness to risk his life and take on more responsibility than he otherwise needs because he wants to live up to his personal ambitions about himself. If Luna was in in charge they'd gtfo out of there and go somewhere safe.

In the setting there is no reason to believe he isn't of above average power. He literally is setting up these powerful barriers and multiple times we see him use his power to save others.

The only two who are more powerful than him are literally freaks like Luna and Kurone who can destroy whole armies by themselves.

Yes - he is weak to temptation because he is virgin and Kurone is super hot and also using magic.
Yes - he holds Luna back who is literally the most powerful character in the setting. He does help her psychologically which is her weakness and gives her direction when Luna would otherwise be aimless without him - so "holding her back" is kinda inaccurate . This isn't a setting where the MC is so irredeemable that we should be happy he is getting cucked and the girl is dumping him.

So this is you projecting lol. While you have one good point and one half truth that I acknowledge - overall what you are saying is just not what happened in the game.

All three main human characters are weak, yes, even Kurone. Leo has his basic flaw, his MP problems, Luna is a mental wreck, Kurone is desperately trying to ignore the fact that she has no memory and that despite what Sadi says, she knows no-one cares about her at all.

Leo is possibly the most emotionally stable person in the main cast to be honest, sure he makes up for it by being the weakest in combat but he obviously out performs the guard girl (name eludes me, starts with a K, better GF material than Luna though.) Leo's real problem is that his support network consists of one batshit assassin, a girl who wants to steal his bombs and ride him into the sunset but won't say anything and the cook.

Luna is, quite frankly not great at anything other than combat and assassin stuff, for someone so PTSD vigilant she is as oblivious as they come. While i understand the dynamic of her staying sane by carrying harder for Leo it was never going to turn out well, she needs time, space and not to have to kill anything for a while to be ok. Nobody in the setting really gets that, not even Leo though he tries, which is more than most MC's could think to do. Also Luna has 0 empathy for the female characters, she trains the guard girl but doesn't talk to her on her own time, ever.

Kurone is pretty interesting because she hasn't lost her personality completely when she was turned. I get the feeling that if she sat and thought long enough she'd know something was wrong, she knows that is trying to ignore it. Arguably the more she is involved with Leo and away from Sadi the more interesting her deliberate ignorance of her predicament becomes.

Basically the writing is pretty decent, better than i've seen in 90% of NTR stuff and adjacent games.

The one thing i would say is that one decently sane human being, male or female for the main three to talk to who had it together would utterly break the situation, literally if Leo had one friend who was capable, sane and that he didn't feel like he had to "lead" the plot would dissolve instantly. But hey, Japanese melodramatic anime logic, what's really holding you back is your personality ect. Not that that's a bad thing, it can be quite entertaining.

Slightly sad we never get any sharing or lesbian content in these games though, i'd love to see what a "saved" Kurone and Luna would look like.

Lol what exactly am I projecting buddy? What your saying makes no sense. I don't think you even know what your talking about because you say im projecting but you don't say what it is that I'm projecting? You are the one that's projecting because you are angry and hurt that I told the truth. Sorry but the truth doesn't care about your feelings. Leo is a weak character. He has to drink potions to do literally anything. Even his grandfather says he is weak in the story because he can't create the same level barriers as his father or grandfather. Leo needs to rely on the mp replenishment of others to do anything. He almost gets killed several times but Luna saves him on several occasions. The game mentions many times throughout that Leo has an ailment and that he has a weak constitution. Luna and Kurone both dominate him and look at him as a child who needs protection. Luna even has a line of dialog where she says "Young Master you can't do anything and would be lost without me." There are so many lines of dialogue and pieces of evidence in the game that back what I'm saying so clearly you are just in denial and are the one projecting. Thank You come again.

But you're the one who made the pivot to talking about power. When others were talking about personality or the handling of the character himself. Scrolling up to the 1st person. They were talking the character. You made the leap to power. Second person said who cares about power, and went back to character. Once again, your biggest point went back to power. This comment also does it, but it's more so in response to someone else also entertaining the power talk so.

Either way, everyone was talking about A, but you keep moving to B, to prove your point. We get it and saw it, he is weaker and has flaws. It's a moot point because people enjoyed playing as him. That's it. He's weak? Cool. Irrelevant.
