A new Monday, a new update. As of right now I am still not sure about the release date and I probably won't be for a while. I am aiming for a release this year, but I will definitely take a few days off around christmas and don't know exactly how much time it will take. So it is also possible that I will have to release early January. I'll let you know as soon as possible.
Everything new:
- Dialogue and more Dialogue. About 70% of it is done.
- The first scene is completely animated and rendered.
- I made a few animations for the story.
- I remade the cabin background and some animations that featured the old design.
- I remade parts of the UI to fit the new cabin.
- I built a new enemy type to come in 0.6.1
- I made some new assets. Some for future use, some for now (like a bunch of different plants for the remade cabin.)
- I also started the first round of bug fixing.
0.6.1 is still in the middle of getting done, but I have already dealt with the biggest headache. The remade cabin cost a lot of time and effort, but it not only looks a lot better, its performance has also vastly improved. Which was really important for 0.6.1
With the dirty work out of the way, the next weeks will be about the dialogue, getting some new mechanics to work and making pretty scenes. After that comes bug fixing, but as I wrote above, I am already trying to get a head start on the fixing.
This time, you'll hear again from me soon, as I have a little plan in my head that I need your help for. I am not saying more than that though. The details will follow in a few days.
