I'm not necessarily saying it has to be a direct sequel or even the same world. Just a similar scenario with gameplay that improves on this game's foundation. Sequel might not even be the right word for what I'm implying. Anyway, my point is, the game is great and I wish the dev all the best!

The developer has two games in development (see OP), and while I can't say they are very similar to Mist, at least CoM is close in terms of storytelling. That is, if you haven't already found them yourself.
I have a question about the "heart" icons on characters. Is there a way to unlock events that I haven't figured out? I see Robin and Mia perpetually have the icons on them, but they have no new events showing up when I try to spend time with them in the evening (chair), talk to them (raise morale), or stargaze (I don't know if that leads to events, but I tried). Is there something I'm missing to cause "available" events to occur, or is this just an indicator that an event will happen "soon"?
Stuck... There is no arrow allowing me to head towards the gas station, there are no new convos I can have with Mia or Robin, there is nothing new around the house, there are no new items to do on my trip to the lodge or the woods...so what else could it be?

Have you completed the tasks ‘I must check the lift to understand what needs to be done,’ ‘Meet the girls in the living room,’ and ‘Go deeper into the forest’?

So far I only have Robin and Mia to talk to, but there is nothing new with either.

Open the console (to enable the console, change config.console = False to True in line 108 of the renpy\common\00console.rpy file, save, start the game, open the console with SHIFT+O) and enter the following commands in sequence:
