Remember a few months back, there was that one post who was like, "DM me for a new kemono site" and everybody posted DM me and this thread got shut down by mods and banned "No more DM me post". Yeah, that's the link. I got that said link because I was one of the early "DM me" posters but since the mods banned the topic so I kept my mouth shut (Just thought the whole topic was just taboo at that point, and didnt want to create another flame war)

Heck, when I got the DM, I told the original guy. "Bro, sooner or later somone is going to post this link, you should just post public rather then this DM me stunt" but he wanted to do it like this so.

lessons to be learned from ksite,
its better to minimize and sharing the source, and just share the mirror instead.
now that ksite has become public. barely any update and many author keep doing things to make it harder to share in ksite.

its the guys who have sharing many huge update of several author on this forums.
what's make him not legit?
and his prerequisite is nothing crazy like asking for personal data or other Scamming things, just "have contributed to this forum, even if only once"

Is there still any reliable way (as of currently) to download content from pan baidu without having an account? I have looked into various means and I have also noticed that it's actually such a pain in the ass to download content from, especially since even if you make a free account it limits your speed to 100kbps, but I still thought I'd try asking. If anyone does know of any way, please do share.

I'm sorry to say no. There are a lot of restrictions in China. Especially when it comes to getting an account or mailbox. Unless you pay someone in the Chinese system to help you and authenticate you by phone it is possible to get an account. ....

Or you can ask someone who got an account a long time ago before the Great Wall of China was built to help you download it. You can also ask your heroes to help and share it here. I want to help. But I can't get into the Chinese resource sharing site. After all, it's too strictly regulated. I can't do anything without an account.

I don't remember saying he wasn't legit, but sure, I can answer.

His actions & speech both *very* aggressively came across as a scammer or troll rather than someone genuine. I didn't get involved or even comment because I firmly believe 'Anything that seems too good to be true, is a scam' which is a policy that has saved me many times in RL & online. Anyway he drew a lot of attention to himself, never followed through with what he claimed, started talking smack about people that tried to message him like he had said, arranged it so whatever he was intending to do would flood the thread, etc. Maybe he was drunk or high..... it's the only way it makes sense. I'm still not entirely convinced that guy was on the level but we'll see.
