Heart Problems - The only real incest in this is between the MC's cousins, the MC is blood related to his uncle, Amelie is the MC's aunt through marriage, don't recall her also being the MC's mother's sister. The MC grew up with them after his parents died but he never saw Amelie as his mother or anything.

Where the Heart Is - I don't recall Monica being married to the MC's father, she was always the MC's mother's best friend. Could make an argument for surrogate mother or something I guess but still wouldn't be M/S incest.

Photo Hunt - This one is one of my favorites so I choose to ignore the game making a point that the MC isn't related and maybe it could be blamed on Patreon's bullshit but I don't recall this ever really being true incest, the patch changed one thing in the prologue (which is why I never used the patch) but then nothing else as the game still has story points of the MC and Rachel being adopted but also not blood related, the game just doesn't emphasize it.


Also, Yes We Are was a Slonique game under a different name due to their poor reputation, when they realized that their little attempt at trying to trick people didn't work, they took it and just re-released as "Sweet Roll" and "Horny Love".

I understand your point, but some of these are situations where the dev is clearly altering the work to try and fit into the rigid guidelines that they're now forced to work under, and the fan made patches basically fix the game to get it back to the original intent.

What story points aside from garbage intro about everything being done by unrelated actors which the patch skips? Rachel is definitely not adopted as there are discussions about her inheriting Evelyn's looks. And I don't really recall much in the way of the MC being adopted either after the one line in the prologue (which is patch skipped)... except when he comes across the videos of Evelyn as pregnant at the right time (and references to the MC having his parents strong genes) pretty much implying that neither of her kids were really adopted?

There's that and I could've sworn there was a story in the game about when either the MC and Rachel met, or when they met Evelyn. It's been a while and I've kind of slacked off on the game since Rachel's Red Maiden progression has been broken for me and I don't feel like starting over with how far in I was with everything else. Like I said, it was absolutely stuff done to try and skirt Patreon's BS so not an issue you can't ignore with how little it's emphasized.

The main character's uncle is his father's brother; he married Amelie.

Sure, you could assign Amelie as the mother, but then the dialogue wouldn't make sense.

And since the uncle is apparently cheating on his wife Amelie, Amelie could theoretically get a divorce and legally marry the main character since they aren't blood-related.

Amelie is more of a surrogate mother or mother figure for the main character, not a real mother in the sense of mother-son incest.

You should re-read the OP, its correct w/ user input. If it wasn't for the fact that it has user input I would absolutely agree with you that it is a prime candidate for the [OTHER] tag.

Actually no, he's right. Even if we user input Amelie as the mom, and the other girls as sisters instead of cousins, it makes no sense whatever in the dialog, because they reference their mom and father several times in such ways that MC can't have that relationship with them. Amelie is a mom figure, yes, but definitely not MC's mom.

That's exactly what I mean.

For Amelie to make sense as a mother, you'd have to write a major mod that removes every mention of the MC's real parents from the gameplay.
You'd also have to adjust the MC's backstory, which is mentioned a few times.
