What does the sterilization upgrade for the brothel do? The description text is cut off in the upgrade menu.
You can expand the window until everything fits.
But yes, it cleanses clients of STDs, and they stop using condoms and love gels as a result, turning your brothel into slave-producing factory.

Are you sure about that? the word Sterilization suggests that they shouldn't be able to impregnate anyone ever again. :p
It is a medical kind of sterilization, not veterinary kind of sterilization.

Sterilization is a medical term Bud... Maybe Sanitization would have been a better term for the Devs to use if that was the intent.

But regardless, I guess you are saying Qahlz was correct in his response in #9,604 ... it was a genuine question BTW, I wasn't being sarcastic.

I've made a ComplexBreeding patch for even dumber dudes like me to modify some values of species & special characters & professions.

Currently, it should be able to edit the following:

HOW are more people not raving about this?! Thank you!! This is amazing!! Exactly what I've wanted for years, I really want to rebalance MBM/CB and this helps hugely. Would you be interested in exposing more stuff? I would love to get access to rebalancing the stats/traits/gold values of slaves and monsters, to do a proper rebalance of the game.

The answer is 'YES, when I have an idea, and time.' But aren't rebalancing values of traits (or called 'Essence' in CB) already available in CBforDummies?

You can change the essences iirc but you can't touch the foundational properties of the races themselves. The basic stats like conception rate/sex time/health/milk quality/etcetera, and when I say traits I think of the 'perks' like double damage during sex or heal yourself after sex, and so on.

Without rambling on about it forever I think MBM is great but is way too sandbox because there's no reason to have to strategize at all. I'd like to rebalance it so its still fun but has more to it like "Maybe I should try more Elves for this run" or "A Wolf girl would be great for this specific kind of breeding". Being able to adjust their base characteristics would be awesome for that. I wrote about it more in general here but the tl;dr is I was doing this kind of stuff before CB came out, but because CB can't be edited as easily as the base game itself, I ran into a roadblock where everything was locked off to me again.
So if you do expose more, I'd be very grateful and would make good use out of it. Would love to provide a good rebalance for this game right here in this thread if I get one finished.

If I did not get you wrong, I think what you want to do includes two parts: Make traits (including the original ones) and more species-related values editable.
For species:
That's an easy one; simply expanding the current code I've uploaded to cover those 'conception rate/sex time/health/milk quality' should do the work, but if you want to make some custom additions that do not exist in its base type, then it will be another question to solve.
For traits:
AFAIK, Complex Breeding 'Replaced' some of the original traits (They become personalities, professions & essences), so if you want to make those 'perks' from the original editable, then the only way is perhaps to reinvent the wheel first (unless they are not edited by CB, in this case do a simple postfix/prefix should conveniently do the work), I did a quick search and failed to even find how existing traits in CB are realized (They do registered within namespace Trait.Data, but IDK how it comes to effect, not through any in the namespace it belongs to nor Character), so if this is the case, I do not guarantee it will become editable in the future but I'll have a deeper look next month, I'm currently busy with other stuff.

Hello there, I've played the game on master difficulty, progressed all the girls, brainwash them too. On the last day, the demon that gives you the tentacle room seems to win.
Is the demon the DLC? Is there a way to properly win? Are you supposed to do anything? I thionk it's the only thing I have left but I'm not sure.
Ty.

Rune Ending sends you back to main menu. To avoid getting her ending you shouldn't build more than 50 tentacle rooms (that might be rebalanced to 10 when Steam version comes out) and not selling more than 100 tentacle eggs.
Unfortunately, once you build enough tentacle rooms and sold enough tentacle eggs she will always "win" and send you back to main menu. Technically it's a bad ending.
You still need her for Brainwashing NPCs, so you should only build less tentacle rooms.

In Tits mod you can still play after getting Rune Ending.

Ty for your answer. So you still lose even if you sell all the tentable rooms?

No worries at all about making editable traits, that sounds like a pain. What I was thinking is more if it would be possible to edit which existing traits the species of slavegirl/monster start with. For instance, being able to take the Elf Lust Tattoo trait and give it to another race of slavegirl too, or being able to take the "Heals after sex" trait some demonic slaves can roll and make it something all Succubus slaves have as a species feature. More ways to balance the species against each other basically, and to make the higher tier slaves worth getting.

Just more species-related values would be a great addition. I loaded up my CB save again to remember what's there:

Slavegirls:
Health
Depravation Capacity (Don't know if this is even adjustable)
Damage during pregnancy
Conception rate
Max concurrent conceptions
Growth time (for offspring)
Maintenance cost
Cost to purchase/sell
Health regeneration
Milk production rate
Milk quality (Price of milk when sold)
Max number of births
Body type - big or little body
Breast sizes possible
Inherent traits - for instance, all Elves come with Affection Crest

Monsters:
Damage during sex (Dealt to slavegirl)
Sex time
Conception rate
Growth time (for offspring)
Maintenance cost
Cost to purchase/sell
Inherent traits

Technically there's also the stats of the brothel customers (Wealth, sex time, damage during sex, conception rate, disease chance) but I don't know if that can be exposed.

I think any and all of this stuff being exposed helps a lot in being able to make a more interesting experience. Some stuff like how long a day takes I can still tweak without CB getting in the way, but all the above is pretty locked off to me otherwise, so what you're doing is something I'm really excited for. Ideally I'd like to make every species of slavegirl/monster feel unique and make the higher tier ones feel more worthwhile and special to unlock, and balance the overall gameplay so it takes enough thought that those kind of advantages feel satisfying to gain and strategize with.
No worries on your pace. Any time you get to put into this stuff, I appreciate it a lot. Thanks for the great work you've already done! It's very exciting.

Yeah. As far as I know they did that for balancing (since selling lots of tentacle eggs is basically cheating) and their next game ProjectR also have Rune as a character. So probably this "bad ending" is also canon... although we don't know that yet.

What you proposed sounds bit easier than what I planned to do with the plugin, as I mentioned all 'perks', 'professions', 'personalities' ,etc (Those entries you see in CB characters). They are all different sorts of 'traits' (What in the original game), therefore, if what you want is to make a specific species born with a specific trait (i.e.,. Affection Crest), making the 'GuaranteedTraits' editable should do, and it won't be troublesome. Or another approach is to modify the initialize process in CB completely to make this happen. I'll skip the technical details, but it's realizable.

Good to see a code analysis here. I'm wondering if it's possible for a race to have both "Girl" and "Woman" figures? Probably not, but would be nice to have both for Rabbit/Sheep types. I know there's no assets for their grown forms in base game, but I've modded these assets in a long time ago. It's just not that useful outside of ComplexBreeding mod - that way I can have them both as separate races, like Rabbit (Girl figure) and Wererabbit (Woman figure).

That's awesome. Of course more is always better, but if it's harder to have control over all perks/profs/personalities then that's very understandable. I don't know how to compile .dlls on my own so I'll wait until you've done a release, but I appreciate the option.
Curious - is there any factor to add value to a slave/monster the more traits/essence/general levelup they have? Would be interesting if you could get more $$$ out of selling better slaves or monster offspring.

Unless there's a way to turn the 'EFigure' type to a List[] type, while letting the MBMScript accept the result, otherwise no, this means if you want to do that, you probs gonna go through the original file, completely, first.

Wow, sounds brilliant. I wasn't sure it'd be possible... I'll be very interested to hear how that goes, thanks! It could add a lot of depth to get more value for breeding better slaves, rather than just higher stats being the reward in itself.
