Not sure if it's the new changes or it's Hard mode but it is kicking my ass. The biggest change to me is the reassigning of certain skills to certain attributes (not getting the skill off the bat).

Look, I'm a simple man. When I see a weakness I gotta target it (even if it's not something I want to do), and when I see boobs I gotta caress and massage them. I started off with a 2/4/5/2/3/2 build prioritizing Intelligence, Technique and Willpower. As a result I didn't have access to a lot of the Breast skills I used to roll with and without mods, caressing didn't give me Energy anymore (considering I play more like a brainy character that hurt).

Let's just say I can imagine myself slowly walking up to my room in the Goddess Embrace Inn, closing the door, showering and when collapsing into the corner like "WHYYYY I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING ANYMORE!!"

what about this?
Oh right I meant to reply to that, my bad xD

While adding stance starters for the player sounds nice on paper, the issue is that it would exponentially increase the amount of writing needed per monster for stance struggle options, and it would also make the AI very easy to abuse as monsters wouldn't know how to deal with these stances and would then struggle out of them, wasting their actions.
Or they would know how to, and exponentially increase the amount of skills and dialogue monsters would need on top of the stance struggle lines.

It's not to hard to add in a skill like this yourself to see it in action though.

i see..
how about a new surrender option that lets the player decide with what kind of attack they get fucked?
but with the option to go back in the fight after every climax (losing a spirit)

A request type feature is definitely something I would like to add, but I don't know when such a feature would or could be implemented.

How do you equip items in the android version?
There should be a button to go into the menu at the top of your screen.

I'm not sure what's causing it, might just be my own incompetence. But I am getting my ass whooped now. On paper I shouldn't be struggling against forest enemies at level 30+, but maybe there's something wrong with how I spent my respec. I think a new game's in order so I can learn the ropes again.

At any rate, looking forward to all the new options and such. I am curious however, what was the impetus for splitting willpower into two different stats? Granted I can see it was kind of a god stat if you were playing a magic focused character, but I wanna know what was going on behind the scene.

v23.c is now out for more bug fixing, hopefully the last of it.

Willpower was both a defense and offence stat, it kind of also had most of the really good buffing skills. So it was very overloaded.
So I split it's defense and offence parts.
I'm not sure if the split was too rough for both stats or if their stronger than ever tho xD
Was a ton of changes across the board.

But hey you can play a smart guy with the willpower to lose to an imp seducing you now.
Tho most will checks were replaced with temptation checks to make willpower less mandatory, in regards to old will at least.

This happened when I clicked the "Character" button on the top of the screen. I loaded a save in Town from v22.5b in Windows.

EDIT: I think I got around it by Adventuring. What I did was take a random trip through the forest, and just clicked the "Character" button during the adventure and it worked. I teleported back to Town after losing to Gren (who is AMAZING by the way) and clicking "Character" doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

As someone whose only ever played on Hard difficulty in this game (seriously, I have no idea what Easy and Normal are like. Are there any changes besides different starting stats?), the v23 update has really been nothing but kind to me. Seriously, the ability to succeed on failed checks by paying Energy is a particularly inspired choice which has made my life much easier - especially when I got around to fighting 'Enthralling Captivation' Sofia.

Also, all the new skills and perks are amazing. Which is why I want to try out every one. So, if you'll excuse me, I have more farming to do while I try to get 40 in everything.

I think one thing I'm figuring out is it's much more important to level up to get 5 or 10 (preferably) of a stat just to access those skills/spells earlier instead of consistently spreading points around. Maybe that's me, but I'm Lv. 7 with a 5/7/6/2/5/2 setup (P/T/I/A/W/L) and to get the skills I'm looking for you really have to level up a lot of different attributes. You really need to examine what you want to do in your build, at least until you reach Lv. 10.

The new skills seem to suggest that specialists are the way forward instead of mostly generalist with a little extra in your preferred thing. Maybe. Given the game isn't even near done I don't know what end game will look like buildwise. With new 40stat skills maybe the generalist build still works, you just take a break from it once you get all the 20 skill ones to reach the new skills. Gonna try that out and see how it works.

Kinda feel bad for luck, as it's just eternally the dump stat. And that's only gotten more true with energy/arousal increases, and higher end skills to grind for. Maybe there could be some way to make luck useful? I like things like luck points in other rpgs where you get things like rerolls or other little advantages you get a limited use per day for.

Mustang Flex I feel like luck is a indulgent skill. You can't really start of with luck but it's a good idea to spec into it. AS someone that somehow ended up with 63 luck + a trinket from Sofia. I feel like luck is really good to grind (now monster drops) eros.
Your magic find (aka eros, items, runes) goes through the roof with a high luck character and your crit is no joke. Would i just focus on luck definite no you need willpower too much. + i usually rush power even if most people think that's not that good.

I think there's something wrong with my fetish levels. In 22.5b I gathered a level 3 foot fetish, to see the corresponding scenes to it. And now with the new stats I have LV 0 leg fetish, LV 25 foot fetish, which still seems correctly transferred. But when I go to the church to revert the foot fetish to zero, it just offers me to revert my leg fetish for 750 eros (how does this work with LV 0 leg fetish), and no offer for foot fetish.

I see what you mean. Admittedly I've got some bias against luck stats in general. Partly because outside of either extremely high or low luck, it doesn't really translate into telling me anything about a character through mechanics. Every other stat says something about you depending on how much you invest in it. couple that with each stat being more directly linked to specific actions you take, and it not being the most useful stat to have, and it all comes together to make me just not like it very much.

The "So, tu veux qu'on se la donne ?" from Gren caught me off guard I have to admit it.
