• Now: you can nut yourself to sleep cuddling with magic Hitler.

But, since new content is scarce and lore is fun, we argue whether Sofia should be ranked above or below Lucifer for evilest sexy person.

then there is the monster queen and the goddess...

Are they as powerful as Sofia though? Is there anything actually supporting that? I'm pretty sure that several people have said that the current monster queen is significantly less powerful than Sofia.

Hm, I really like this game, but at the same time it's, like, 4yo now... And the last update was in August. Even considering the the sheer variety of interactions, ignoring the fact that it mostly CG-less, it feels a bit too stretched out, but then again I'm not exactly a very good judge when it comes to serious game development.

Can someone give me a based, straight-to-the-point answer whether it's another project where the dev is creating some promising prototype, gets their subscription money and then goes onto blue-balling their audience for as long as they are hooked and then releases some "cool" small update before they hop off the hype train? I do want to support the development of the game like this, but more than that I do not want to support nefarious money-milking practices that plague the current porn game market.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not calling anyone out or making a snarky comment, I'm just genuinely curious.

You don't need anything else but the game to use mods in Android. I posted instructions a while back, I'll quote them for you:

This is what I do on my phone, and it works (downloading Total Commander is very recommended, but I think your phone's original file explorer should be able to do the trick anyway):
1 - After downloading the mod, go to your app storage (mine is internal storage, but you could use an external SD card to install apps)
2 - Now go to Android/data/monstergirldreams.program/files/
3 - In there, create a folder named "Mods", and other named "game". Inside "game", create another "Mods" folder. Mods/ will be used for the mods' images, while game/Mods/ will be used by the rest of the mods' data.
4 - To make things easier for you, do the same as me: grab a mod's folder, put it in game/Mods/ (WITH ALL ITS CONTENT), then copy such mod's folder to Mods/. That way you don't have to create all the folder trees on your own, but if you're having storage problems, keeping only the paths to the mods' images in Mods/, and deleting the images' folder of every mod in game/Mods/, will help you save the maximum amount of storage you can.
5 - Make sure that you load a save in town, in case you could run into any errors. Also, when you load a game after adding/removing a mod, the first action you do on the game screen (like, for example, go adventuring or enter the church) will take a long time to perform, I guess it's because the game needs to load/unload a mod's content as soon as it detects a change in the mods list, which (I think) is checked at every valid click you do. So don't worry about your game "freezing", it should unfreeze in less than half a minute.

Okay, I think that's all you have to know about installing mods. At least, it's all I needed to know, but do any doubts pop up, I'll try to check them out.

Morally, the only way I can think of that would mitigate what she did would be if all the humans she drained were enemy combatants at the time. No prisoners of war or civilians. Without getting into the argument of how moral the war was in the first place, that'd downgrade the atrocity from wholesale systemic soul murder, to a particularly nasty way to kill the enemy.

The third factor is that it's pretty explicit that neither side was in the right. Humans weren't fighting a losing battle where they needed to do whatever it took to survive. They might've lost eventually, but they gave as good as they got. We don't know who was around from back then to hang for their war crimes. But it could be that at the time when peace was first established; it was agreed that neither side would seek retribution. Some like Sofia got the better end of it since they're immortal. But unless both sides sign a treaty that involves handing over their war criminals, it might be for the greater good that a few people go unpunished rather than sparking war over it.

its a free game, however if you can and want to pay/donate on his patron then you are free to do so, as stated before here a few pages back he is working on a new area with a new gameplay system that can take a while longer then normal to finish.. and the best part of this game that you will rarely see on this site or any other porn site is that even after its 100% done it will still be popular becouse it can be modded by the fans and add much more content in the future

There's no denying that development has been slow lately. I think this year in general has been slower then normal, though I started playing it this year so I only know what others say on that. Content is definitely being produced for it, we might not be able to see much as non backers but looking at the patreon page does show a few posts with preview art and details on development. L30 used to come by the thread to give us development updates but they haven't been around for a while. From what I've seen the dev has a habit of scope creep getting into every update. He starts with "I'm going to do X" but then X takes a while and when it finally comes out it turns out Y was also added to the update as well. Combine that with the big scale of the upcoming update and it's not surprising that it's taking a while. That said I would love it if we could get some kind of progress update. I don't mind content taking time to produce as a non backer but it sucks to not even have a time frame for it.

Overalll I don't have a lot of experience with following patreon funded porn development so I can't judge how "scammy" for lack of a better word MGD is. But if I had to answer I'd say it's not a scam, it's just that the project has a huge scope considering the singular developer so progress is naturally slow.

nah I think the current pace is fine, dev is active, you can go on Discord and see that for yourself. The game is not a simple linear vn novel (ren'py probably wasn't the best engine for it)

But if I had to answer I'd say it's not a scam, it's just that the project has a huge scope considering the singular developer so progress is naturally slow.

Okay, I just had a somewhat decent look at the Patreon(only the news titles, because the dev is finding it a very good practice to hide the major selling points such as big teasers behind the paywall) and the discord.

Perhaps it's not the scummy-scummy kinda thing going on, but it does seem like the dev is not very good at setting priorities straight. I don't know what's gonna be in the next game mechanics update, so I can't exactly judge how necessary it is nor can I predict it, but I do know for sure that the... map rework is coming. And that baffles me. Why would one dedicate their time and resources to something so completely arbitrary when the core game itself is not finished? I just cannot fathom that.

I do hope that I am mistaken, but for now I'll remain cautious and see how things develop before throwing my money at this project.

It's really just Threshold as programmer/developer. Art is commissioned as needed from various artists, and there is the occasional scene written by others, but it wouldn't be much of a stretch to call this a one man show. there's a credit page in the menu with more details if you are interested.
the Map Rework was literally just showing off the new map that was drawn (by Jiffic) that showed more details and added some places Thresh has planned, like the Elf Village.

Don't you think it's a little too late for that? Also your 4th instruction confused me as to how Mods and game/Mods work. I know one is for images and the other for the actual game but I already put the mods and deleted my original game already.

I used Joiplay and the traditional method of modding games. Unzipping the files and putting them in the mods folder like any other game.

To be frank, It's a lot faster in Joiplay than using the actual Android version of it. Or probably it has been a long time since I updated the game and it's save. Lastly, I didn't mind restarting the whole game as long as I get to enjoy it again with all the new mods that I put.

Speaking of mods, what mods should I download that are worth it and add much content? I know Pale Priestess and Mari the butterfly seems popular here but I kind of need more to justify my restart in Hard Mode with a Monstrous Fetish.

well, hard mode is not that hard you can still go through this, but is hard on the start since you wont have some atributes that would be good, besides a good tip that can give you is focus on the weak spot.
