Found this little bit of trivia on the wiki:
  • Defeating Venefica's wild form with a leads to unique dialog, including a reaction from Elly if she is present
As a true headpat connoisseur I simply HAD to check out what the dialog is, but I cannot seem to trigger anything unique. I even trial-and-errored my way to make sure she loses her last spirit point EXACTLY with a headpat attack. To be more specific: it was the "Fight her going wild." option where she's instantly in her wild form where she's level 100 and has a total of 15 spirit.
I then ALSO did the same thing on "Fight her full power, with Elly's help." option. Her wild form/second phase had "only" 10/10 spirit here. And yes, the headpat was again the "killing blow".

I also reloaded and did the very same thing with her being much weaker during the "quest" fight. Nothing. Did I get jebaited...?

  • A new "Ask Ancilla if she wants help with work around the dungeon." scene has been added. By Valentin Cognito, edited by Threshold.
Not seeing this option anywhere in my 26.8a game.

I think the first one is just refering to this bit of code
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If I'm reading this correctly, when you use headpat, it checks if you already used it once this battle. If not then it skips to the second block which removes 2 spirit, and if that 2 spirit removal also defeats her you get the final block of code which is what I think that trivia is specifically referring to. If that 2 spirit doesn't defeat her, then you lose the opportunity to get that dialogue. Also, I think she needs to be at high arousal (70%+, when she comments about how close to orgasming she is after you attack her).
Not seeing this option anywhere in my 26.8a game.
You need to go to Sofia's Domain and "spend time with Ancilla" to bring up her submenu. Then you can ask to work with her which you have to do multiple times (with different scenes in order) before you can get to the newest one.

Once again, no such option. I've exhausted all other options with Ancilla too. Maybe there's some other flags involved? I completely skipped Mika's progression, maybe you need that?

Thanks for the reply on the other thing. I really thought it's going to be post-battle dialogue, not the in-during one.
The phrasing on the wiki seems wrong to me though, because it clearly simples that she needs to be "defeated" with a headpat, which "leads" to more dialogue.

Yeah sorry I just glanced over it the first time but the requirements are right there and I ignored them. You need to "Talk with Ancilla" and then "Ask about the dungeon's residents" and then ask her about the imps, matangos, and blue slimes. After that go back a menu (Talk with Ancilla) and "Ask about Ancilla" and then "Why are you working for Sofia". After all this you should have the option to work with Ancilla in the dungeon.

Okay, yeah. That did it, thanks. Which is odd because as I've mentioned I could've sworn I did exhaust all her other dialogue options. Must've reloaded at some point where I didn't do that yet.

Hi, I'd like some advice from fans of the game, I'd like to get started on this game but I don't know if I should play it without mods to start with or if I can install them.

What happens to human adventurers who quit adventuring (i.e because they don't want to be sexually exploited, can't progress any further, or are mentally incapable of being an adventurer)?

i recommend getting through the forest dungeon before you install any mods, so you can get a general feel for how the game works and flows

While i don't like trashing developers of games for slow content this is one of those times where there's a direct comparison that is relevant.

Look at how much content Majalis puts out vs this. Tales of Androgyny has been putting out content every single month for years without a problem and they have less writers contributing. It's a really stark comparison. For games like this if you can't even do half of what majalis does like, your workflow obviously just isn't good.

I think the Capital is taking a while because it's supposed to act as a pseudo-dungeon or maybe just a full-on dungeon, with time passing as you travel around it, along with encounters that get more dangerous at night. It requires it's own framework and blueprint and isn't supposed to act like the beginner hub town. There are also things like waiting for art, proofreading, and implementing dialogue and events from outside collaborators. The creator is also adding more things to previous areas of the game in an effort to make them not feel empty.

Majalis has something like 288% more Patreon members and their lowest tier is three times as much as Threshold's lowest tier. This allows them to have two programmers, a dedicated writer, and a dedicated artist all working on the game. Whereas the artists for MGD are freelance and likely have to work on other commissions and the like and the people that volunteer to write scenes also have their own lives. Majalis also caters to a broader demographic with futa, furry, and a bunch of gay shit.

Please keep this stuff in mind and maybe play around with making your own game so you can see how hard it really is.

I asume the vast majority just retires with a wife,
while those who are heartbroken get help one way or another.

There are some mentions about retired adventures, or how some want to.
Himika offers to retire with you and go in hiding somewhere if you are in trouble, with Mizuko.
Manticore mentions that a friend of her got a boyfriend addicted to manticore venom, not 100% certain of retired.
Ushris, Venefica and Sofia mention that they look for a pet, or something similiar, so i asume others retired with such fates.
Vili mentions some former imps are now succubus with husbands living in town and other places.
I believe the 3 subbubi that camp ontop of the mountain also have some dialog about retired adventures.

But the most important person is Vivian as she is playing matchmaker.

as for the people that get heartbroken, into accidents etc would get help from others.
Mika for example was beliefd to be turned into a monstergirl, was scolded by Elena for it.
Mika, not being clearheaded, wanted to take some revenge on Elena for scolding her and tried to steal from her.
Mika got caught, and Elena vouched for her to be able to stay while Ancilla took her in with a job, to repay her now debt.

Catherine is a adventure that tried to cheat her way through and snuk/magic her way through the labybrinth without clearing it, which caused her to land inbetween a lot of horny monstergirls which played with her and transformed her into a succubus.

Nara got heartbroken by a very good friend at the mountain being fired, got depressed.
Vivian decided to try and cheer her up by sending her out to stop you, the player, which helped out.

I asume with that information the vast majority just retires with a wife,
while those who are heartbroken, into accidents or something else get help one way or another.

edit: there are also some near death accidents with the player, and mentions of death for other adventures.
but with the player i would call highly accidental such as the succubus campers on the mountain, or fate related with being the hero.
As for other adventures i believe it was only in the past with succubuses eating souls. I dont think there are any recent accidents.
There are however MIA, missing in action, reports that Elena sometimes fills in, but that appears to be adventures fucking Mantago for a week or longer.
But because there is a MIA producure i assume accidents still happen, but rarly as the guild can track you down with the return stone and book.
