This is definitely just a preference thing, The Livewire Voltlins are my favorite addition to the capital so far, despite seeming super casual they're in control of basically every scene you can get with them outside of victory scenes, so they're amazing for a femdom aspect. I hope that trend continues when their dedicated area comes up.

Bro that's so untrue they literally have reversals built into their combat events... There are multiple ways to overwhelm them and put them on the backfoot, and that's not even speaking about the shopkeeper's scenes, and the special scene you get for wearing their gear before talking to them.

Those perks represent changes imposed on your character by one of the monster girls, so obviously they are for the femdom content. The reverse would be changes that the MC makes to a girl, which would not be a perk that the MC has, it would be a perk that the girl has

Not necessarily, perks also represent what the MC has developed a liking to/proficiency in. So there can absolutely be specifically maledom perks, for example, you could definetely add some pain/bondage Shizu perk instead of a generic sadist one and it won't look out of place

The actual scenes and ways you can get them are what affects the sexual content leaning.

Generally my perspective on a game's sexual leanings as a switch/vanilla enjoyer is a lot of the scenes in the game don't really feel like maledon even if the are on the surface. The sexual scenes' disposition distribution does not lean overwhelmingly to one side and there's plenty of content for all options, but

I dunno what scenes you're getting but they literally dominate you or power bottom all of their scenes other than the victory scene, and that even have some dominant vibes with the titfuck temptation. You could make an argument for the blowjob and riding in the shop to be neither dom or sub, but you definitely aren't taking control and fucking her silly. Just because they're on the bottom or servicing the character doesn't mean they're the submissive partner. They even send you into rut because you cant outfuck them in some of those scenes.
