Given Redamz's apparent lack of professional discipline, it wouldn't surprise me if this was all true. A worsening release schedule, only to end up with a mini game(hello feature creep!) to show for months of work. Then he scrapped a demo milestone to market a prologue as a 'release,' which still hasn't been released. He refuses to hire help, despite a considerable budget available to him. Finally, it's not like this would be the first time a dev has dishonestly ripped assets for their own project.(and certainly clarifies his hesitance to higher help, outside of $$$)If this guy is a whistleblower about Redamz been a fraud, can anyone corrabrate his story?
I bailed out of supporting his project last year because of this behavior. Patreon is not a charity(generally), and I wish some people would stop excusing creators as such.
