I've never done it myself so I'm unfamiliar with the process, but this kind of thing should probably done through the report button under the OP, selecting "Game update" and describing the situation.
Since SHRIFT, this was something I was interested in aswell.
I occasionally thought out in my mind how it would play out in MGQ.
Heavily inspired by Paradox (you will understand some of the context better if you know the story), with some key points here and there, this is the following setting I have got so far:
I already tried to play around with the various mods you are provided with and consulted the wiki for the modding documentations to see how it works. I am able to use custom music and sprites, the problems are the text and the battles. You cannot insert custom moves in this, except if you mod the very game itself (which I don't want to do and frankly I think this is not needed), the text can crash the game if you are not careful and I still have yet to figure out how to add sprite / screen animations to enemy attacks. I feel like this should be possible, but I couldn't find anything.
Creating a mod for this game is a pain in the ass.
Edit:
Wording, fixing spelling and grammar mistakes, adding some details, also more informations and moving text around.
I might edit a bit more, as I have still things I either remember or occasionally come up with. It has taken quite a bit of time, but it feels so refreshing to actually write this all down what I had in mind about this topic for a while.
Edit2:
There is a so-called

with general bugfixes, which basically fixes all problems for side story making, to be able to add 'buttons' all over the screen, making it possible to implement world maps or build villages and interact with villagers separately, just like in the game, which is not possible in the vanilla game without the patch.
There is also improved support and bugfixes for side story battles, making it possible to add custom skills with names and costs, and with instead of just wonky text support having full command support for skills, making skill animations with picture and movie files and screen animations like screen shaking feasible (also for recreating Monster Lord's Cruelty's animation?), the same with enemy skills, new attack queries, more commands, battle triggers, changing in-game values on the fly (like HP and spirit turn count), more variables and variable support, improved resource management, having companion(s) to attack aswell and having direct mulit-enemy battle support. And the most important thing of them all: The displaying spirit command 'element' also supporting artificial spirits!
This patch is a must for a mod like this, apart from the multitude of bugfixes to the game, especially for displaying text.
I wonder why this patch is not included here.
Hey so does anyone have a save for the ren py version on android? I've played it before like two times on pc but with how long it is I just want a simple access on mobile
Ok, so if it was not to have the Adventure Record (the part that tells you what you unlocked towards the 100%) would you all be ok with that? Adventure Record seems to break towards Plansect Village

I doubt this is the case, But I ran the Exe's through Virus Total and came back with 3 positives.

Is it just being weird with such a old/JP game?
Anything with a patch is going to be detected as malware/trojan. You are essentially messing with and changing the code from what it originally was, and antiviruses will detect that. I can say that it is safe, but in the end, that is up to you whether or not you want to trust it
Is there a way to download each chapter individually instead of downloading them combined because space is limited on my computer, and downloading them combined takes up 3 gigs of space.
