you have 10 members in your party, one of them can have the monster ward bracelet
even so you won't walk around expecting to find a mimic, in most peoples party luka will be the main damage dealer so he should have all the boost in damage the other three will be either bait, support, debuffer or sec. dmg dealer, so really why would you use the ribbon unless youre fighting a boss or smth...

I dont know about part 3 since i am waiting for at least a mtl translation, but from my experience in part 1 and 2, Luka is a horrible dps actually (unless you are using gravity pleasure but thats brokean as fuck).

Anyone got a save file with super strong party or well built characters? Not because I want to cheat that badly, I'm playing using Joiplay and for unknown reason it always crashed when enemies attacked me first.
take mine if you want. Save 16 is before the choice (end of demo)

really? he and king of grangold carried my ass back in the days, in part 3 he Is pretty weak but thats becuse the celling spike is just too high, must be a different in our playstyles but i do think he's one of the best dps of part 1-2 (until collab)

I mean, Luka is just... basic, is fine for a casual play but for higher difficult there is a ton of better options, like Mitsuko or Awawa, since they are both Slime and Scylla race, they both can learn a ton of skills to have multiple actions and attacks each turn. tl:dr they can deal like 1 billion damage each turn without Labrytn of chaos gear.

Also characters with the Nightmare race like Est or Fulbeau are inmune to any type of damage except from pleasure attacks, this make them OP as fuck in the normal game.

The MVP for me in part 1/2 was the dune sandworm. She did obscene damage to everything right out of the bag.
I remember the first time i played Part 1-2, there is a point where you can use Alma Elma for a bit, but if you leave the dungeon with a fly wing you can use her to beat every single optional boss in the early game (like Sphinx, Leviatan, Yamata No Orochi, etc), i wonder if they fix this in part 3 lol

what does this cheese mod do?
It's a cheat mod, but it's quite complicated to use. You pretty much need a separate spreadsheet to use it. You can give yourself pretty much every armor, weapon, accessory, & item, including LoC equipment (none of which is accessible in Part 3 for right now). You can also give characters skills & abilities without having to learn each job, but the whole process is EXTREMELY time consuming (see snapshot below) & if you don't know what you're doing with it, you can crash your game (saving often is recommended when using). There was a Google Sheets file with all necessary info to use Cheese properly, but it doesn't look like it has been kept up to date since before the Part 2 Collab Event, & some things were moved around & added between Part 2 & 3, so the old spreadsheet is useless, unless you were like me, kept it up to date yourself, & figured out how to look for everything in the files (not that hard, but a lot to dig through). Let's just say with using Cheese, I'm pretty much prepared for the nightmares everyone is describing.

The Elf Princess is broken AF. Her unique trait allows her to equip EVERYTHING. Absolutely worth the trouble of recruiting her.

Generally, humans are weak compared to the other Monsters since they are relatively limited in terms of Race grinding (even considering Promestein's race transformations). The Main-game meta (until Collab Event) is to do whatever is possible to beat Superbosses (preferably in order of strength) to then recruit them and beat each of them while slowly gathering strength in this way.

The real difference comes in Grinding for all Jobs&Races, specifically the Race part, as the Meta party members usually have a lot of innate races available to them (even more with Promestein race transfers), aside from some innate good Traits.

Luka, until Collab Event, was basically just along for the ride by comparison. While he has some story-given skills (such as the Spirits), he quickly gets powercrept by even the earliest Superboss Nanami. However, with the Collab Event, the access to Nightmare damage on all his physical attacks does give him a more sizeable advantage, which is then used in the broken Nightmare Gravity build (& Death Claw from Sorcery skills). Fyi that broken build is one of the bread&butters for doing late-LoC floors (when enemy HPs spiral into virtual infinity), that alongside Barrier-applying Damage-nullification Full-Evasion builds.

The Elf Princess is broken AF. Her unique trait allows her to equip EVERYTHING. Absolutely worth the trouble of recruiting her.
Would have to test her mettle by full-grinding her stuff (if my past Colliseum Grind Macros still hold up to Part 3 or if there are better non-LoC grind methods)

By the way, did you MTL via Mtool? I tried loading the game in Mtool, but it keeps crashing after 1h+ of loading due to runtime error in the application (most likely running out of game resource in the meanwhile).

Yeah, but at least I've thrown a positive grain into the world at least, because even though there are many things to criticize, at least this saga deserves some respect and if you simply don't like that the art sometimes breaks, well bro, you're playing something wrong and that's it.

And since that is the basis of this saga, it's like saying for example why there are people who like the NTR genre with questionable looking characters, well there are and they like it and nobody criticizes it because that's the joke of that genre, if it were any other criticism there's no problem (and even so your criticism is totally valid) but the problem arises from something as absurd as why we breathe oxygen, it's the basis and simply questioning it´s redundant.
Guess what, both the VNs and the Paradox games kept me for the story, never for the sex. I could (if I tried my upmost) be interested in maybe a handful of CGs for each VN or RPG but that's the limit before I have to vomit.

So yeah, I have a feeling most European and Murica folks are more interested in the story while the Asian people, who developed some very strange fetishes over time, are more into the sex, I guess?

Nah.
I can assure you that 80 if not 90% stay loyal to this title because of the story and gameplay.
Some fetish can't keep me from waiting and remembering this title for more than 10 years.
