Thanks for the reply, but I play the game raw(without using mtool). Is there any option to cheat?
you can use cheat engine and pull your hair finding the variable you want so you can lock/change the number inside the game. But the game is so big good luck finding the variable.

If you join the opposite route, then your route exclusive companions leave and the other route's companions join.

However, what I'm not sure of is how the game handles the events at the end of part 2.. Part 2 ends significantly differently depending on which companion you had, and from what I've seen of the routes.. some of the plot points would make no sense at all if you hadn't seen their ending to part 2, and I'm not sure how easily they could fix that plot hole.. but I haven't actually seen it so I don't know.
I think the Great Decision could have been much more than it turned out to end up being just on the micro scale of how your companions react and whether they ultimately decide to put their trust in Luka and continue to follow his lead based on who he took with him, how he resolved conflicts beforehand, who he recruited, affection level, etc.

I'm not suggesting it should have done all of that for every companion, but for major/boss ones and your part 1 choice of Ilias/Alice, I think it would have been nice to have been able to potentially make them believe in Luka coming through for them that they would be willing to trust whatever his choice was. Make their decision to ultimately side with or against him for what his decision is be more character-oriented rather than event-oriented. It would have also been nice to give Luka himself more of a personality during that choice, but that has been my stance on his character for most of Paradox anyway.

The version 3.00 need a update to 3.01.
Try this one.

Normaly this version include the transfert from part 2 translation so you can start a new game and have the text translated until after the big choice.

When you got it Crisis Addit builds (Edgelords)

Crisis Addict: 50% Omni Boost, but charackter start every battle with 20% HP

There are many Abilitys that are working with 20%HP or less and got more support in Part 3.
Basic Luca abused this extremly well.

I can Post an example if needed
Can you post the job i don't have Edgelord I'm on Alice route on the final Map. im afraid i miss the job item

Depth would be nice, but even what I suggested is a rather bare bones example of melding gameplay elements with the plot and story decisions. Even just having the Affection stat alone contribute to a companion's willingness to advocate for a certain choice and even stand with Luka against their own best interests based on something like that would be nice.

My expectations for depth in MGQ isn't very high, I'm certainly not expecting something that deepens the writing and world building on the level that my last reply to you contained. At this point, I'd settle for just having Luka be a character again, even though I didn't like who he was in the prior installment, at least there was a person there, sort of.

Practically stealing my opinion at this point, though my expectations were much lower and cynical
Also i expected mgqp to not scale up while practically not adding anything onto it, this game is such a perfect fit for "As wide as an ocean, as deep as a pond" phrase

so I played a bit and got some cheatos addition done in my save with mtool and found some accessories that can't be equipped like these ones(heaven's ring), got chaos pillar +30 and strange sonya weapon from the reaper which also can't be equipped
Screenshot (3719).png
is there something I need to do to equip it or do I need to progress the story in some special way? went through alice route till the end and those 2 are still unequip-able

You need to clear the game if you want to use Chaos Equip.

I am rather unforgiving of characters that don't tend to think past the immediate implications of their actions, which just about everyone in MGQ is guilty of. That I judge Luka the harshest is merely a result of the fact that he is meant to be the human(ish) perspective that we see the story unfold from.

I'd argue that phrase of "width of an ocean, depth of a puddle" is more a perfect fit for Skyrim than this, though there is one thing that MGQP did that I thought was better than the original: It replaced the entire Harpy/Happiness Village plot. The impetus and resolution of that thing in the original made my blood boil, so I'm glad it was different in paradox at least.

how do you open the golden chest in third route??
Answer: Yamatai.
Complete the story up to the point where the final boss goes to the cave and that's it, before even going they give you the item that unlocks the forbidden thief class which gives access to the skill of opening any chest when you level it up to 15 or simply by having that class active, although it is bad, the chaos hero class gives better advantages and more points for skills and is from the previous list, the sealed one.

Now I ask: Does anyone know at what point on the map you recruit nero and neris? Or is it that they only appear at the end when you would have to go to the last tartarus?

Reason: given that the master skills even of species give more skill points, nero and neris as a base have or I think they have many species and if you add the ones that Prometein can give, that pair along with Luka and the bug I want them to be my final team that I put all the meat on the grill, since after my little trauma with the first primordial weapon, I haven´t stopped exchanging characters for team and except for luka none of them convince me, since every time I find a new disaster or apostle, they break me into a thousand pieces and I don´t want to lower the difficulty of paradox, since to my liking, it´s the most fun, since the vast majority of enemies are immune to almost everything and so it´s more fun to play, since there are skill combos that would literally make the game boring from how broken they´re if they weren´t immune.

They are recruited in the "last route", pretty much towards the end yeah. A bit late if you ask me, but I suppose you can replay with them afterwards x)

BTW for those wondering, the game isn't finished yet. There is in fact a secret FOURTH route (not kidding) but it is not yet available, TrTr is gonna add it in a update god knows when, you can check it out in Luka's room in his inn, if you go there and click on his diary he'll have a conversation with a character you recruit at the end "no spoilers" and they talk about wanting to do the journey with Luka's. And then we get a message from the developer saying "not added yet" go check it out :D

Blurred name for no spoilers

So it's until the final battle?
I know it's in the third route, I talked about where on the map you could find them, but man, really, until you enter the last tartarus you can recruit them?
That's annoying, since after finishing the third route (I'm just starting) I don't feel like playing anymore, since you have to play it 3 times in a row to be able to get to the last 2 canon endings from what I understand, since although one is the "happy" one, the other is just as good even if it's the "bad" one.

And with how tedious some points of the game become towards the end, I don't want to play it again for a long time.

Although... if it is true as far as I understand, that the translation team managed to find out that torotoro had plans for a fourth route in a DLC, then I literally take a ticket to Japan, find them and kiss every single blessed man and woman, because my god... the game is fucking huge and good (well... the Alice route seemed to me the most tedious and boring, if you compare it with the Ilias route that reveals a lot of things and even feels tied down by having to have Alice's to do in order to access the third route).

Here's more from the translation team:

> Fixed a bug that was causing the game to crash whenever monsters found in certain Third Route dungeons tried to join the player's party.
> +More skill+ability translations restored, updated, corrected, and some translated.

Ah, nice attempt with preventing spoilers, but it is painfully obvious who that is and what the fourth route entails. I mean, we have the Angel Route, the Monster Route, and the Chaos Route. So what's that leave? And who would Luka be so willing to indulge in such a route that would entail re-enacting a journey in which countless innocents suffered horrific fates all for the sake of satisfying the whims of a companion's wish to just be there for the journey, from the beginning?

What route could it be but the Human Route, with our human companion Pilate right there by our side from the start. I mean how could anyone say no to that face:
Pilate_upsies2.png
And what a journey that ordinary Human has been through with the team, from being a humble human guard watching out for wandering Slime Girls to participating in multiple universe ending events against beings that not only rival, but exceed the gods. Who could forget his witty banter, his deep moral conflict, his tragic past and his hopes and dreams for the future? Sure, he could technically join you from in the very first town, but in the fourth route, he could be there from the actual beginning! I for one, can hardly wait to go on this journey once more, with the best boy Pilate right there with me.

Ah, Harpy Village. Truly, One of the most well crafted subplots of the original game. Who could forget such classic moments like

  • When Alice told the villagers they were just as bad as the people kidnapping and enslaving half the village's population,
  • Or said sex slaves being completely fine with this treatment and never seeing their families again because bird pussy, I guess,
  • And the two villages integrating with minor family drama that fizzles out in a few months, as opposed to the 30 years of strife and conflict you'd expect from sloppily cramming raiders and their victims into the same settlement.
Like you said, glad we skipped this mess in Paradox. Though I will say the game's at its worst when it backs up the worst plot points from its predecessor. Like that alt universe Luka who lost his convictions forever because he didn't suicidally charge at Granberia like in the OG story. That was dumb.

My eternal thanks to you and Neim, for suffering in my stead. Glad I dropped this game before sunk cost could set in.
