Guiding you on the route of chaos is complicated without a guide you end up getting into places where you shouldn't, like I said, for example I killed the dimensional invader and Magatsu before the singularity XD
Yeah, thats totally right, the game just tell you "go to all 4 big cities" and then is a open world from there, but if you are using a guide then there is not problem.

I'm an easy going guy so part 3 to me a pretty much more enjoyable, after went through the heart wrenching 2 paths. The only complain I could say about Chaos route is that if you aren't an adventurer that like to checking every area on the map you can miss out some quests (like I stumped upon Granberia quest by luck because I decide to sleep on the bed in the ruined town because my party's are low on HP, I didn't even know it will trigger the event) or accidently go into a fight with enemies that above your weight class and got KO by them
The after ending....yeah, it's pretty silly but heeeyyy it's a porn game so I just roll with it and have fun while waiting for 3.03 to come out (hopefully within this month, would be a great christmas's gift every)
Or you can follow the chaos route guide if you want. Less fun random exploration but better progression experience.

Not really, Loc equip is useless until you complete the true ending... All you need to do is keep upgrading your gear while upgrading the forge (aka collecting blacksmiths) and keep upgrading your gems.

But people just want to go rambo with shop equip and no gems, and then cry about the balance of the game.
I didn’t know about that first part but I meant is as in part 2 you get those ridiculous LoC weapons with multiple actions, crisis bonus and high stats. So do you not upgrade your gear like that on the other 2 routes?

Looking at the chaos route stats really made me think the game expected you to have made it to the deep LoC and be competent there.
It doesn't really need that at all (and as far as I know it wouldn't even be very useful? My understanding is that LoC stuff isn't even useable in part 3 until you've finished the game already). Mostly it just needs you to pay attention to gems/equipment and focus on min-maxing your characters (min-maxing in the literal sense, not in the sense of just grinding more, I mean in the sense of having characters that are specifically designed to perform 1 and only 1 role - don't try to make your attackers tank hits and don't try to make your tanks deal damage).

I'd say the biggest failing of part 3 is that.. even though there are countless skills in the game.. 99% of the skills are basically irrelevant, either because they're just outright worthless or because the benefit they give is so marginal that it's not worth caring about when it's so easy to multiply your health/damage by thousands by just using better passive abilities/equipment/gems, and that even goes for a lot of the skills that sound super broken at first glance. You can get some minor optimizations by using better skills, but nearly everything is determined by how high your stats are and some passive abilities. There is strategy in the game, but you do not strategize during fights, only outside of fights.

You don't lose the ones that are random encounters, you lose some obtained from the story but they are recruitable later.
So I should put some effort into a couple of mobs so I got something to work with until I get my big hitters back?

I mean you probably should be focusing Luka the entire game shouldn’t you?
At first I didn't pay much attention to Lukas, then I did, Lukas at first is a bit of a role compared to the monsters you get through random encounters or story, he starts to get good when you get the Demonoid race and on the Chaos route he is broken.

Although I'm sure I did some things wrong because I didn't understand the game very well at the beginning, and even though I'm 180 hours into the game I still have things to learn, I'm sure someone else can guide you better.

I’m the type that thinks “if I’m forced to take this character I better put effort into them so their aren’t a liability”.

if you care about that, Luka as one of the most powerfull One shot trait of the game and with the orb of life drain you can have him at 1HP with crisis buff doing trillions of dmg with heroic skills. En after the end he gain one of the most powerfull upgrade to his trait

To be honest,
this is a game done with the RPG Maker where there is a whole bucket of gameplay. It is about playing MANY hours and there is a content that the whole grinding won´t be wasted in the "end" of the game.
Getting this play for a RPG Maker game is very spezial and mor as positiv, so when people write "terrible game" then they mostly just want to salt around or are tourists.

Sure the part 3 story could have more but mostly it is alltime so (Chaos Black Alice storyline was for me a bit empty).
But to be honest, other big games lost the story input the last years more extremly for example pokemon.

PS: For the people afraid of Mimics and Pandoras,
when you are afraid than your team is too weak:sneaky:
But no jokes Mimic and so are the best way to farm Jobpoints and Big Medals at least for the mid game. Don´t beat them is a big waste of farming.
