I am in the chaos route and i want to know what kind of gems should i equip my characters, all in in one attribute or should i vary like put one gem of 50% attack,50%heroisms,etc?The difficulty is normal
It's really personal preference and your style of play
When you start getting more 2 slot equipments, you cant use 2 of the same color on any specific piece anyways, so you gots to vary it out like, yellow gem of "class/race" here, and a red or blue.
Maybe have another piece that does one for +30% stat for that character depending on what they are good at trait wise.
Also some red critical strike gems or counter attack gems...

The customization sky is literally the limit :KEK:

Does anyone know how to trigger the event for unlocking the tea doll Kage form change? I have all 32 CDs, unless there's one I'm missing I don't know about.

On Luka i put one red orb of 30% attack in each piece but i didn't see that much improvement in his damage on enemies,my question is more like if i put diferent pieces like one for attack, another for heroism will the damage be highes than if i only invested in attack?

On my Luka build I always focus on atk and use Swords, Magic Swords and/or Scythes:
You need abilities to supplement the gems. Stuff that raises atk but lowers magic is very helpful int he beginning and till now.

I dont think Im that far either but you will eventually start getting more class abilities if you grind out the jobs and get super and ultra and hyper gems.
edit: forgot to add, these fobidden jobs' stats make your stats jump up crazy too.

do the arzorx translations for the dark route just stop when you get to the heaven world?
I know what you are talking about, it happened to me on the previous translation patch.
With the most recent update Esta and some parts beyond is translated and the translations stops when you make camp in the angel world.

Is part 3 harder than the first two chapters? I noticed a significant power gap between the enemies at the beginning of part 3 and the end of part 2. Even with the advanced jobs, being around lvl70, and rainbow equipment, I struggle to defeat normal enemies in one turn like I used to. I speak of enemies like the roach girls and kunoichi elves. I'm playing on normal difficulty.

During monster and angel route the game is harder but balanced if you grind a litle and don't play dumb.
When you go on the chaos route (the thing you unlock after doing the 2 other routes) the balance is fucked. That the point where you have a real choice to make.
You can continue playing in normal and need to grind level & job, have a good synergy in your team and be ready for 5-10 turn roaming fight. If you want to do the boss of this route in normal, you probably need to grind 20-40h to have a team ready to end the story.
Or
You can select the easy difficulty and go inside your castle to find a white rabbit offering you a key item called ruler's rules that let you giga nerf the stats of the monsters so you can cruise on the game and boss with the team that you like and some light grinding.

At the end of the day, if you have difficulty in this game it's because you want it to be difficult. So yeah, if you come here and ask why you have difficulty it's probably the answer you are going to get.

In my opinion chaos route is cool and all but it doesn't deserve the 40-50h of grinding you need to invest just to see the end of this story. Do yourself a favor and use the ruler's rules.

At this point we could really use a map of the dungeons, since the wiki admins won't bother with updating stuff until 2030 when doku doku is done translating the whole thing.

The real prize at the end isn't saving the world or your friends, it's coming back after the story is over and collecting all those laser gates to use for yourself. That shit can stop literal gods cold, you'd be absolutely foolish to not replace at least the front door with one for unassailable security.

Thanks for the answer. I think I will lower the difficulty because I plan to finish this game in this lifetime.

Tedium and challenge are two completely different things and it's sadly something far too few devs realize.

For those having trouble with the laser gates, you most likely missed a switch on Alice's or Illias' sections of the dungeon. Higher chance that you missed it on Illias' section.
