This game is grindy enough for me to not try to fish for the right monster, spend 4-5 turn talking to it before the fight end and losing the toss for the recruiting thing before needing to find another copy of this monster and try again.
Just do yourself a favor and skip this mechanic.
I can get it, I suppose. But if you don't want to grind to recruit all the monsters to join you why bother with recruiting them at all? The party size is limited to 8 slots and I can't imagine it being doable to level up all the insane amount of monsters you can be recruiting anyway or even taking advantage of their traits\abilities in any meaningful way with how many of them there are (unless there's a mechanic to share the xp with companions who aren't even in your party)
Personally with the way job xp functions right now (even with 200% job xp rate that you can have accesses to relatively early) you'd need to do same fights over and over a lot to level up jobs, so (from my point of view) the recruitment thing is fairly inconsequential
That is aside from having to talk to them mid-combat, but since you're sometimes awareded items for that it's not like it's a terrible way to spend a turn, especially considering the +2000 speed and the fact that you have 4 actions per turn and 1 person in your party could be one-shotting everything, so if you can set it up so that one talks, one steals, one kills it's gonna be pretty efficient (which yeah, it feels odd to be like "hey, let's talk while I order my companion to rob you blind and also bash you over the head with a giant cleaver" \I guess that's the beauty of gaming ;d)

The party slot become 16 later so you have more opportunity to get xp on different member. And yeah the member on the back team get the same xp.
I can totaly understand the fun of collecting every new monster on different zone but the talk system if really mid/bad in my opinion and decrease the fun of this collecting quest.
For the grind, you don't really need it if you pick good member for your team and when you really need it you should have access to the colloseum or mimic island or the key item to skip all this chore.

I understand people who want difficulty in their life but getting it from a rpg porn game is not the way to go. Better end the story and find another great game to explore than spending 20h to grind the same zone before going on the next boss.
If you had paid for the game and wanted to get the best value for your money I could understand but yeah a free porn game don't deserve all this work/time

It does paint a funny picture in your head of just what the fuck is even going on in combat if it were played out in real-time rather than turn-based. Having a casual conversation, question and answer session where you and the enemy pass items and money back and forth while the other members of your party are robbing and beating the shit out of them, and it's all happening simultaneously.

Talk system is a fun little thing to have and gives some barebones personality to like 90% of the characters who otherwise have no dialogues or (main or side) plot relevance whatsoever. That said, you can also just train somebody on the talker jobline and have them spam great praise and ally invitation, maybe even have multiple characters with talk skills to get affinity to 100% in one go or whatever.

I also feel like (at least for the first playthrough) it could give some info about surrounding area as well as pieces of lore\world building (e.g. slimes and slugs can't stand each other, which you partially can learn via those talk dialgoues), which adds some depth to the otherwise purely mechanical rpg-whatever (which I stay away from)
And, yeah, it may be tedious for some as well as not engaging on playthroughs after the first and maybe it's an odds thing to say, but I just feel that there is so much love put into these games (as unpopular and unappreciated as they seem to be). Grindy gameplay, tropes and cliched story elements aside the whole things feels alive sometimes.
Sure, one can approach this as "press spacebar to read a novel" type of thing, but you can approach it as "it's a process" and then discover more (like goofy jokes and useless items or imbalanced skills, like I get so much fun just imagining becoming a maid and then spray bug repellent over giant mantises)
Tbh I'm more excited for that "side stuff" than the main story (which I don't expect to be somethin revolutionary)

It might not even be the strangest part. For example, the reserve part of my party spends their time lying on the ground paralyzed, blind and silenced (binding rope accessory) psychically receiving double the experience of the active party...
Actually that's my preferred usage of the protagonist, since he's kinda useless in the beginning

Why the fuck does Luka regret not saving the 13 phenomena or whatever they're called. I understand the goddess of Chaos as the characters spends like 20-30 minutes beating up what is essentially an unborn fetus that exited the womb 10 minutes ago while being in said womb for 30,000 years who was conceived for this specific purpose (which is extremely funny in retrospect). But the phenomena were world destroyers who spent a long ass time brain washing Luka's companions to do extremely heinous shit to serve some vague goal. Like this is uber beyond the steven universe twiter/tumblr brainrot "Fascists war criminals can be redeemed too" rhetoric.

I'm starting to think that Luka just really wants to have a giant ass harem at this point and has the most widest net sexual preference in all of media. (excluding scat, ntr, and BBW if the cow Demon Queen doesn't count as one). I refuse to believe he's retarted like Steven Universe.

I think Luka's main superpower is that he's able to empathize with his enemies to see that they're (usually) not acting out in malice.
Like 9 times out of 10, they're just hungry, or living the only way they know how to.

So what if they're Quarthalomoz, The Destroyer Of Worlds?
They wouldn't destroy a world that their friends live in.

Sorry for a question that is likely common, but I am unfamiliar with forums. I'm aware that part 3 has released, but is there any translation currently out for it? If there is, how/where would I apply the TL? Thank you in advance.

The library in the game don't show the chaos monster locations, any tip to find them?
I think this answer is still valid considering the game isn't officially translated into english yet...

You either need to physically go to each location in the Chaos route to get them to show up in said library, or check the monster girl quest paradox wiki, which i believe is still not being updated regularly.

Are you sure? When I started encountering chaos monsters they were not at the bottom of the library monster list but I had to go to the bottom and scroll up. They seem to be at the 3/4th area in the list as you encounter them.

Out-of-story, obviously this is so we can actually get basically every female character that existed within this game (and 99% of them to also have scenes).

Nah, plenty of them simply have a different moral standard, not all of them are forced to Vore for sustenance, and the monsters that require semen intake could just refrain from draining people to death, but they don't both because of a lack of willpower in that direction, and a personal moral reason to do it (aka. if you did not think it immoral or illegal to murder, you could find yourself considering that option more than you would now, and not out of strict necessity).

It's the same reason why most vampires in our basic media, drain humans for sustenance(besides needing to feed). Especially if they are depicted as pure blood, or being raised as such.
If you think its normal, then you will do whats necessary, regardless of possibilities of co-existence because. have you ever been taught of alternative methods?
Or maybe such methods don't appeal to your sensibilities?
Or as some people like to do, they can't be bothered unless it affects them, then they change their thought process after the fact... :devilish:

The fact that you finished part 3 and somehow still have even the slightest shred of hope for Luka's capacity for logic is a feat in and of itself.

You'd best start believing in retarded characters, Luka is one.
