interesting, I personally dont think its bad design, but I also like exploring everything, and played both routes...

So on your end you went ahead and did the monster* aka Alice route only... and then immediately went to part three?

I did Alice and illias up to the end of the demo but currently on Alice's route. So I'm playing mostly blind.

Plus, I'm not sure exploring is a good excuse for this since I already talked to everyone in the monster lord's Castle this was specifically an interaction that occurs after you've gotten a spirit and you talk to said NPC. Which I wouldn't really think to do without prompting. I don't think she even gave a clear mission like say Kanon does. If I were to compare it to anything it would be the mimic girl small medal.

Well if you picked my most up to date version of the bob mtl you should have my full save folder with save 16 and other post game saves.

hmm thats fair. i would use ruler as well probs but i am yet to grab the newest version of the game to get it. also know anything better than mtool? basically the same to edit properties but without the translation so my pc doesnt start frying

Sorry no cheat engine is better than mtool in my opinion. And save editor don't work well with this game, except for the gold edit, because you can't get the name of the item to change to real name because the data is too heavy to load for save editor.

So looking at what updates the wiki has made And speaking from just the monster route. tamamo is supposed to give you a promotion item after you recruit your first Spirit in part 3. Problem is she becomes unavailable for some time after angel world Sabasa. I know she'll become available again and I'll be able to get the item from her then, but this still annoyed me when I went back to the castle and found that she left to recover.

I know that I was doing it out of order because I got the detour dialogue, But the same time the only point I can think of going to the spirits in story makes sense would be after I escape angel world Sabasa and enter the preparation for the Sabasa raid.

Basically what I'm asking is if anyone did the spirits in the intended order of events and the game tells you to go back to the monster world monster Lord's Castle to pick up this reward. Because it feels bad if doing something out of sequence results in you not knowing about rewards that you could claim. It's not a big issue, but I'd like to know. View attachment 4587970

I don't even know if it's accurate. You get it for fulfilling a request for her, and the Japanese wiki says it's not available until after Demiurge (that is, before a big point of no return later in the route).

EDIT: Double-checked. Looks like it's only available after doing the four kingdoms and visiting Remina.

Probably somewhere is the data file or during chaos route you can get a Ilias ghost inside your castle in easy difficulty that offer you the option to guide you inside the fucked up dungeon of this route.

Yes but you fight yourself directly with your team of monster, and slap your dick and not pokeball on the face of the monster you want to recruit.

Its interesting that so many different variables were covered for when people may or may not have missed the content in the beginnings of the story (part 1 and 2).

Once again, I personally dont think its bad game design if the devs were able to think about that and account for it. I mean in my notes i found the dang orb in the monster realm, but the devs made sure someone could find it in part three somewhere or Monte Carlo part three too*.

Is that not accounting for more than a few things? I mean this is the rpgmaker engine, they(the devs) cant easily account for every (single) situation where a person may want to skip ahead.

Another thing, did noone tell wae1029 what happens when they dont finish the first two parts and skip to part 3?

For the skipping part, you shouldn't be able to skip any route because the 3rd is only accessible if you have done the other 2. The problem is that the trigger that look for this is not inside your save but inside the data of the game. So if you picked a game folder from someone like me who finished the story you can access the 3rd. Skipping one route is fine in my opinion because you understand the general plot line if you have done at least one route of part 3 but you are missing some pretty good content of the game and the dev created this part 3 with the idea of the player needing to do both route first.

Yes. There is supposed to be a bad end if you try to do the third route without doing the others. Versions with completed saves being passed around are sorta breaking the intended function, though you can still get it.
I really don't see why one would want to skip that much of the game anyways.

Yes the bad end is something you get if you did the 3rd choice before doing the other 2 routes. But when you get the trigger from doing them, the 3rd choice become the chaos route. But you can only see this end if you use a raw version of the game part 3 or a version 2.41 of the game but with the demo. Because during the demo you could access the big choice but the story ended before going to the new world of these choice. I don't know if you can still find these version, but the raw version 3.04 can be grabed from my gofile if you want to try to do the patching for the translation by yourself.

did u end up finding the king of sabasa soul? im in the same boat... No one seems to know where it is in this forum. Im nearing the end of the Ilias route (i assume) and im worried im gonna miss ever getting the soul as Amira has been giving me the clue ever since the beginning of the monster realm.

current situation :
- Ive spoken to the 1st part of the soul in the Hellgondo tartrus (ilias route / monster world)
- Amira is currently hinting at a 2nd soul
- Monte Carlo recommendation is wrong - i went to the monster world AND the original world and looked everywhere - no soul
- I have recruited and completed King sabasa's hero story in Monte Carlo (even tried taking him to the helldongo soul - no luck
- Port Nat recommendation is wrong
- I am currently up to the Black Mansion on the ilias route

Im starting to think the 2nd soul is on a different route (angelic domain?) and it is just bad game design having Amira hint about the soul WAY too prematurely unlike with everything else he gives you information about

Each part of the soul is on a different route. One in the Monster Realm and another in the Angelic Dominion. I cant remeber the specifics but they are located in Monte Carlo and Port Natalia. I believe to have to talk around for the one in Monte Carlo then walk down the alley where you originally meet eve.
