The "one click patch" does nothing except waste my time. I've already deleted and reinstalled and run the patch twice. several hours of my time wasted. Can someone please explain the right way to do it because the included read me is zero help.

Download 3.06 from here.
Extract it to its own folder. Do not overwrite anything. The 8.2 gigs you just downloaded are a full, working copy of Paradox 3.06 with 99% translated.
Run the game, make sure it works. If you're running a windows PC, it should. If you've got old saves, make a backup of the save folder, and copy your old one into the new mgq folder.
Hell, you can just play now if you want. But, to translate some subquest stuff in chapter 3...
Next, download this. the '_Tiny Improvs BOBmtl with patcher 0.17 (for 3.06)' file from here.
Now, in the MGQ game folder, delete the 'one click patcher' and 'patch' folders.
Now extract the _Tiny Improvs BOBmtl with patcher 0.17 (for 3.06) so ITS one-click patcher folder is there.
In the one click folder, run "Start_Patch [52AE0DFB]" and press 2.
Wait.
Once it's reported it's done, run the game again.
On a win 11 PC, if you follow all of these steps, you will end up with a working game. I literally did it as I was writing this just to test. If you don't, either you've done something wrong, or you've got some individual compatibility issue that none of us are going to be able to help with, probably at all, but especially if all you say is 'it didn't work.'

Is this the full game?
Yes. This is a full and complete version of the game with all assets. You can play through from the start of part 1 all the way to the end of part 3 as of the 3.06 patch.
How much is translated?
All of it. However, the quality varies. All of parts 1 and 2 are human translation from the fan translation team. However, their part 3 translation isn't done yet, so after a certain point in part 3 it switches to human edited MTL.
MTL? Where and how bad?
As far as I can tell, from around the start of the Sabasa region on Alice's route, and attacking Kannad at Grand Noah on the Illias route. The whole third route is MTL. Said MTL has been given an editing pass by a human and is perfectly understandable if you pay attention. It was done with a fair amount of care.
Saves from previous versions should be compatable. Just copy over your save folder.
Mods?
In these instructions I have you delete the patch folder that contains the mods before repatching. This is because mods for an older version of the game can cause crashes and there doesn't seem to be any version numbering. There are a few useable mods in the second gofile link, the one for the one click patcher. Look in the folder at the bottom.
There are also more mods here.
But those ones don't seem to be version marked, so use them at your own risk.

Can you blame her?
She is so unhinged that parts of the whole world got ravaged just because she "gone for a walk". She throws celestial bodies at things just for fun and when she fights, victory is assured (only michaela can beat her).
Even Ilias never really directly faced her out of fear what she would do, and when she wanted her to reawaken her angelic mode she sent a virus at her village just to see her deciding to die just to one up her.
Ilias got so pissed that a virus got rid of her that she only didnt wipe the whole village because Luka was there.

Or he tried to update the patcher on a overwritten old game.
THAT WILL BREAK THE GAME 100%. I FELL FOR THAT ONCE AND HAD TO REDOWNLOAD EVERYTHING AGAIN SO FOR THE RECORD, WHEN GAME UPDATES, TAKE YOUR SAVE, THE PICTURES FOLDER AND THE MODS (IF YOU HAVE ANY) AND REDOWNLOAD THE UPDATED GAME RAW
Well i had the biggest slap in the face possible in this game 
I am currently at the end of chaos Route before the final fight and because there are 3 caves 2 from ilias 1 from alice side i cannot open the way for luka to get to the finish line and cannot finish the game since in 1 of the ilas caves is a lever to press that i cannot reach. anyone knows of a fix ? playing on the 3.04 version .
Reentering the dungeon didnt work reloarding the game didnt work reloading an older safe didnt work (i rly dont want to do the whole dungeon again)
and the problem with the caves is i physically cannot go into them right at the entry it refuses to let me as if there a wall

two possible fixes. This is one of the game breaking bugs that got patched out later, from what I hear, so you can update to 3.05-3.06. Make sure to do so with your party on a different map, like, go camp out in a town somewhere.
Other than that, if there actually is a wall, you can try using noclip to get through. You can do this by activating debug mode. Create a shortcut to the exe where the end of the 'target' field looks like this.
\Game.exe" test
Run the game using that shortcut, then hold ctrl while moving and you'll pass right through the barrier.

Downloading your version, which files should I delete, to remove cheats and uncensor?
Also is this compatible with party size increase mod from part2?
One where you could talk to Chrome at the entrance of ghe castle to manually set party size.

the only thing you should remove is the feature mod. the uncensor is not removable since its the uncensored images, you would have to find a graphics folder untouched.

Having issues with the v 3.01 from gofile: If I just start the game.exe, most of the game (except a few UI elements, like "page") are in JP. Running the patcher in the "one-click-patcher folder doesn't seem to work, after reaching the point in the screenshot (weapons.rvdata) it doesn't seem to progress (been like 15-20 minutes). The folder is as it was downloaded from the gofile link. Any fixes?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some help. Does anyone know how to insert this English translation into MTool? It says that the text size with the translation is too big (literally twice as much), but I really want to translate it into Russian because the original Japanese-to-Russian translation is incredibly bad. Thanks to everyone who responds.

Is there a reason you want mtool to translate from the Japanese->English to Russian, and not just having it translate Japanese to Russian and skipping the English? Is the translation not as good from original Japanese? edit: Just now caught the part where you said Japanese->Russian is bad, do you mean from mtool?

I mean, MTool can translate it from English to Russian.
I have a partial translation from English to Russian and I liked it, but since that translation was incomplete, a lot of parts remained in Japanese.
I roughly understand how the translation works: the original language is stored in the Game.rgss3a file. After applying the translation patch, this file is renamed, its contents are extracted, and the extracted files appear in the "Data" folder already translated. However, due to the extraction, the size of the translation files increases significantly (as I mentioned before, about twice as much).
I just wanted to ask people who understand this better than I do — is it possible to take this already translated content in English and use MTool to translate it into other languages?

Actually, Translated Data folder is 319 MB , while not translated is 334 MB, so it's less than original untranslated and definitely not double the size
And yes you can translate Eng To Rus using Mtool, but you need to pay for Mtool in order to translate/generate large size translation json for Mtool, you do not need to pay if you use a file that was already translated by someone else.

You’re misunderstanding a bit — it’s not about how much space the file takes physically, it’s about how much text MTool detects in the game (the original text in the game is about 43MB, and after translation it’s around 96MB). Even with the second-tier subscription, you can only have 50MB available for translation.
The translation wasn’t made in the form of a JSON file, which is exactly why it can’t be imported into MTool for translation.
That's exactly what I'm asking about — a way to import the translated text into MTool, since the amount of text increases significantly after translation.
