I took a look at the discord and it they keep saying "dev is busy with IRL stuff"

Cool lifehack for you guys - if you open the html file in a text editor like VS Code, you can change
Config.history = false to true, and then you'll be able to use arrow buttons in the top left to go back and forth between choices instead of savescumming.

Developer commented 22 days ago on itch that they are still working on it. Best guess is that it's one of those situations where something came up in their life and they don't want to face the fact that they put it off for so long so they are kind of on the down low with communication.
