I have a question, will I have to choose the main LI in the end and I can romance anyone before the end, then choose one.
Or there will be path choices before the end?

I'll wingman a friend of the MC in games that are very story focused. If they're written well a good bromance is always a nice addition. Especially if it's with someone who in no way is going to be a LI or intended to ever be one. Hurts nothing to help a bro lay some pipe off screen.

Oh, that stinks. It's so early in the game and people are already going to be forced to choose one girl?? I'm not asking for a harem or even throuples or whatever, but wouldn't it be better to let us get to know all the other girls more intimately first? For a few chapters at least? I haven't read through this one yet, and I haven't given any money to this project, so I really have no say in the matter. It just seems like a better option, for all games with numerous love interests, frankly.

I think it really depends on the Devs plans. If the plan is for 12-15+ chapters, then they have a more time. It'll also depend how long each chapter ends up being, as they release (a day? a month? a week?). But if they are shooting for less than number of chapter, then things do have to be sped up and compressed somewhat.

The other consideration, of course, is the longer it is to write and complete then the higher the chance of it being aba... wait I don't want to jinx it.

Both ways have pros and cons, I know what I'd prefer but it seems those longer running games end up dying off before being completed. :unsure:

I almost missed my usual Tuesday dev log. It’s been a hectic day, kicking off what looks like a busy week ahead. Working on this game in my spare time feels like therapy. I care so much about building Moonlight that it can get frustrating not being able to spend every waking hour on it. But we move.

This past week has been focused on writing and planning, both for this chapter and future ones. I made the switch from Notion to Obsidian for my notes. The reason? I wanted a single large canvas where I could lay out the story from a top-level view. Now I don't have to store everything in my head or dig through endless notes to find an idea I wrote down weeks ago.

I also had a great conversation with some veteran AVN devs that made me rethink how I approach this next release. I’m seriously considering releasing Chapter Two at a similar length and render count to Chapter One, rather than continuing to expand. This way I could release updates more frequently. I’m curious how the community here would feel about that. I'm always conscious of scope creep, and I don't want dev cycles to keep growing just because I’m trying to cram more content into each update. I'd rather release the story in manageable chunks and avoid cutting meaningful content—whether it's comedic or dramatic, just to hit a shorter timeline.

On the render front, I’ve comfortably passed 800 renders for this chapter. That 1,000 render milestone is in my sights, and I’m charging toward it.

Big thanks to everyone on Discord and Patreon who joined the streams or dropped comments this past week. It’s been a good one, and it really feels like a strong community is growing around AVNs in general. Hope you all have a great week ahead, and I’ll catch you in the next one.

Dev already mentioned this is not a harem game.

Can MC romance all the possible LI until the end of the game then choose one, or there is choice between MC in every chapter and one by one gone?
