I've been playing it on the Beta branch off Morningstar and really enjoying it.

The dev has put a lot of work into the history of the Roman Empire, its ahistorical expansion, running into the Chinese and how the end of that war unintentionally helped to plant the seeds for the next war.

It reminds me a bit of the original Wing Commander PC game (and thank God I no longer have to program HIMEM.sys myself to get it to work in Windows 95) but with a much bigger scope and a lot more beautiful ladies.

Valeria is also so different than previous main female leads in Droid Productions AVNs (Emily and Katie will always be favorites of mine) - her 'formative' years, her hard-nosed political acumen and her careful evaluation of the MC who becomes someone important to her at the fulcrum of major change when the first interstellar war erupts.

He gives her hope in dire circumstance that she would otherwise never allow to flourish.

The hardest part for me is always having the patience for a good story to be told - released - and waiting for more of Wings of Empire on the Beta branch is already hard - and I know waiting for each full Act to be released will be worse.

On day 80, I have a conversation with Ms. Kennedy. Afterwards, I am stuck in the club and can't find a way out. No arrows, buttons, etc. I did a search for this problem and didn't find anything. Can someone help?

That's really strange. Is it ALL buttons (save, load, etc) or just the quicknav?

If it's quicknav it sounds like an issue with the flag NO_EXIT being set, though I use it far less in Morningstar than I do in Love of Magic. To check, Ctrl+J, then see if a flag called NO_EXIT is set.

You can also always load a beginning of day save (load menu, load day 80), or load the latest auto-save (beginning of your last conversation).

Finally, if you upload player.log and player-prev.log here (you'll need to zip them up), I'll have a look.

Thanks for your great help. The no exit flag was ticked. I removed and the quicknav button appeared.

I was tinkering with Morningstar to fix some small typos and shift some social media posts around to unlock on the right day, and before I knew it Lin and Snowdrop ambushed me and demanded wallpapers and additional Game+ content.

For those of you on steam, v1.1.2 adds in three new sequences (Day 115+, if you've completed Lin and Snowdrop's questlines respectively).

Lin really is quite gorgeous to pose, I'd forgotten how easy it is to get a good shot of her.

Morningstar's now on sale, and the new content is live. This adds 3 new post-game Facial events (triggered by loading the end of game save, if you've got Lin and Snowdrop's story completed).

Snowdrop's made a capital investment, and wants to show it off to you. I have no idea where her organs go.

Lin, of course, is a little more mild mannered, if not as shy as she once was. She also snuck in two big facial sequences, and I find myself rendering a video that'll probably be used for some capstone sex scene in the not too distant future. Never change, Kitten.


All 3 Love of Magic games and the Flexible Games ( Paradise Lust 1, Paradise Lust 2 and Sinners Landing ) are also on sale, so it's a great time to help support devs making what's hopefully great games :)

Snowdrop can be dangerous.....

I mean, she's no god like one MC or a Morningstar like this one but she can be as tough as all the other girls....

I mean, maybe not a fire goddess or the goddess of Camelot/Angel of this or a Weretiger/wolf/bear/lynx/whateverelsetheyhave or a chosen or a Demon or a Fae or anything else with seemingly masses of power ....... but i'm sure she can kick someone in the shins like the best of them.

She's not just an actress, she's a dancer. Snowdrop can likely kick them on top the head three times and run away laughin' before they realize their under attack...

She's also an incredibly tiny Pixie type thing in another world......

To be fair, she made a great scout ..... and drunk.

She's also super adorable. If I didn't have a thing for muscle/toned/badass chicks she would be best girl.

Sadly she didn't get anywhere near enough attention.

That said, Bella was my best girl. Not a full on muscle girl but she was toned and looked awesome.

Jalsa was a close second, she looked badass was she were'd out.

As did I. It's one of the main reasons the casting of Morningstar ended up the way it was; justice for Katie.
