Game is pretty good. The story at times is laughable but has enough to make want to see what's next in the life of Sunny and his magic soda can cock. As a USCG vet I got a chuckle out of the description of Kelly's job in the US Lifesaving Coast Guard. The US Lifesaving Service and the Revenue Cutter service was merged many, many years ago into the US Coast Guard. The various Counties and Cities have their own separate Lifeguard services such as the infamous Baywatch of LA County. The scenario of Kelly's disappearance was straight out of the Kevin Costner movie "The Guardian" which instead of LA was set more realistically in Alaskan waters of the Bering Sea. LA rarely gets storms of the magnitude depicted in "The Guardian" yet the USCG has lost Aircrews and Helo's off the So. Cal. coastline. Also adding that Kelly was a US Navy Seal was comical as I cannot think of single instance where a USN Seal would lateral over to the USCG. They are separate services in the US military except in time of war. The current USCG Special Services Teams are a part of the Port security and drug interdiction ops. They are badass as well being trained by the US Marine Corps Spec ops command. Kelly instead of being made to be both USCG and a USN Seal could've been a part of the USCG port security teams and a sniper on a helo. He could also just have been a rescue swimmer which are badass in and of themselves like Kevin Costner played in "The Guardian". It would've also better fit his mishap during a rescue except he would not have been a Captain. Instead he would've been most likely a Petty Officer or Seaman at the least. I loved the bit about Kelly being a Coastie and a surfer which fit me IRL while I was serving. My hometown was even mentioned in the story by the M/C as one of his favorite beaches of which I surfed for many years.
The animation needs improvement as I found it many times clunky with obvious still frames looped.Earlier in the story it was a bit better with a cut scene type that timed out.
The number of LI's and Sunny's stable keeps growing to the absurd level as others have joked about. For all the chatter from Sunny about his philosophy he's never met a cunt that he will turn away no matter the consequences. That's the laughable element of the story that I referred to above. Sunny and his magic soda can cock pussly slayer extraordinaire.
Everything you said is amazingly important to write a more accutare character, based IRL.
I almost made Kelly a cook just like Casey Ryback from Stevens Seagal movies Under siege, some people reach a level of badass that the government can put them wherever they want.
I also thought, I can't write this, for starters, I'm not a writer, I'm not an english speaker, I not american, I'm not italian and I'm not a lot of other things but I remembered something very important: that you don't have to be an alien to write movies about outer space, hehe. You just have to do it with passion!
