As in minigames? I don't know. I'm not particularly a fan of minigames in AVNs myself. There'd be choices and even some timed choices, but I don't know about minigames and such. It's a bit out of my wheelhouse code-wise, as well. If I were to do it, it's probably something I'd pay someone to do. Something like a target practice game, or a timing game. All of which would likely be skippable/optional. It might also be something added to practices instead of games, if I were to do it.

Right now, choices will dictate outcomes. Nor am I shutting the door on QTEs, but I don't know if they'll be a thing for MTC.
I could see a simple directional choice almost mini-game. In the case of maybe when a play is run being a CB you 'guess' the route WR is going. Just off the top of my head but I'm more familiar with scripting in games than Dez or VNs. A standard injury or victory scenario.

No not minigames. Timed choices are part of it, for example, someone is running to tackle MC, then a sudden popup to press a key like W or spacebar, if the player hits it in time, MC dodges otherwise gets tackled. Something like that...

Oh. Then most likely, yeah. Will see what I can do as far as key presses go.

Not a fan of em tbh. We already got stats and perks for that. But I guess it ain't a huge deal as long as they're chill. I usually play these games on my days off to relax. Don't wanna have to connect a mouse to my laptop to try hard shit.

I largely feel the same. But if they're included/added to the game, they will be optional. If I can't make them optional, I won't be doing it.

To whomever it may concern:

It looks like Black Orchid's rpy file worked for Auto-forward. It's kind of a weird fix, and I still don't know what the exact issue is, but it's working nonetheless.

- Go to Settings > put in the time you want (might take some playing with it to get it right.) > press "C" on your keyboard.
- if you need to adjust the speed, repeat the above again after adjusting the timing on the slider in the settings screen.

This'll likely be included with 3.5.

I mean its a basic qte thing, not like you're playing madden itself. Seems silly to call it hard shit.

Dude. If I want gameplay I'll load up 2K or somethin. I don't need random lil things like qte's added to keep my attention while playin a VN. I'm here for the story, choices, and lewds.

Also... wtf is up with that Luka trade??? NBA's fuckin wild rn

One thing to consider with this talk of QTEs and timed choices. A good chunk of the fanbase have stated they aren't fans of "American football". Putting in strategic decisions might seem cool to people who love this specific sport, but it will be annoying to everyone else. There's another popular game being developed now that involves street racing and has a few timed decisions mid-race, talking about shifting and skidding in special ways and all sorts of technical details that don't mean shit to me. So I randomly pick one and rollback if it was a stupid decision because I didn't know what it meant. (Not if I didn't get the best outcome, just if whatever I chose ended up being really stupid after learning what it entailed.)

So yeah, please make sure they're optional, and don't gate parts of the plot by the players performance (or lack of participation) in them. :)

my worry is the development time ...this would cause umpteenth varients in every render after that...and get worse each time another choice is done....up to and including if you win or lose the game....then you have if they do film after or not and win or lost dialouges.....its a nasty rabbit hole

When I try to open some profiles in the extras, they either drop the usual rpy error page or bring up to strange icons. Game seems to have a few bugs.

Now that we have an updated list of all the LIs, let's theorise about the possible drama with each one :BootyTime::

Alaina: A rich, decent girl who seems to be very well educated. The problem is that dating her officially means warming the bench all season .

Diana: If you play the game without the iPatch, she is perfect. The only possible drama is that might get into drugs because of where she lives, it doesn't make sense for her to live in another house, Laura has to talk some sense into her.
If you play with the iPatch, the relationship would be scandalous for the press and I think illegal in Texas , Spencer should move to Alabama where he wouldn't be bothered :LUL:.

Eisley: The Portuguese girl, quite modest and decent. She doesn't seem to have any drama, but now she lives three states away, so you can only sext her.

Kara: She seems to be a teacher at a high school that has nothing to do with the MC's college. So the drama is obviously the ex-husband, of whom we still know little.

Fame: There didn't seem to be any drama with her, and I don't think even the stepbrother would mind too much. However, Colt, the father, showed up and I didn't get a good vibe from his "retired mobster" presentation.

Parker: I don't remember where we met her, I haven't played since the beginning. Normal family, maybe the only possible drama is that she goes to this gym where they box late at night, but I don't think anything bad will happen to her. NO drama :PogChamp:.

Ria
: The girl with the most drama of them all, getting rid of a boyfriend who has so many contacts and is already playing at a professional level will be more complicated than the Koi climbing ten waterfalls.
Devon Rodriguez Ramirez de su Santisima Trinidad looks to be one of the biggest antagonists in the game.

Maya: She's part of the college staff, a forbidden relationship. She also seems to be the MILF of the game, and even if nothing happens because Spencer is of age, we know it will still cause a scandal/drama every time there is an age difference.

Yuna: The state of her ears as she gets older :ROFLMAO:. Seriously, the biggest drama is that she doesn't know what's going on with her father's real illness. If her father dies when she is far away and she finds out that Spencer has been hiding something so serious from her, it will be such a big scandal that I think it is almost insurmountable.

Kelsey Swallow/Nicole: I don't know much about them, they just seem to be there to drink, do drugs, smoke a bit and party hard.
I'm fine with them if you want to roleplay an MC who lives to party and is immature. If you want to roleplay a serious, responsible MC who needs to leave all that shit in the past once and for all, I'd throw them out.

Ivy: She is trans, that says it all. The scandal would be huge, and even more so in Texas where, at least from the outside, I see that they have this ideal of the alpha male who should get the top model and start a normal family.

Kaya: Miss Fortune doesn't fool me, Kaya is Diana in disguise :LUL:. We still know very little about Kaya, her drama seems to be the lack of money and being abused in the jobs she has to do. She will have her scenes in the future, we'll see.

Sky: It's Deshaun's girlfriend, very swampy terrain and I prefer to stay on the tarmac. Besides, Deshaun plays for the same team, so you can see how far the drama can go.

Emily: I'm not saying anything about Emily, the girl fucks with your worst enemy, and she can even corrupt Diana.
I only see her redemption if you find her lying on the street and have to help her out of all that shit.

Extras (No LIs):

Hazel: The redhead has been removed from the game, but Miss Fortune has left her in the main menu to torment us. We need to talk to the bunny from the tutorial to get him to do something :devilish:.

Hailey: She is gorgeous and she knows what she wants, I just hope nobody has filmed that.
Haven't followed the development much until recently, but was kinda sad to not see Lydia on here, was curious to get to know her character more.

Ah well, Diana with I-Patch, Alaina, Ria, and Parker all seem pretty great.

Mavs could have had both Brunson and Luka and decided on neither lmao

You do realize missfortune said "If its added it would be optional", i don't think there is any reason for your reaction mate.

MissFortune What a great game this one, impeccable story till now and equally interesting, unique LIs and renders; glad to have it on Steam now. Had to ask a question though; how many total episodes/seasons are you planning for the entire game. As a player it kinda gives that clarity about the plan a Dev is having, because long-multiple season games are good but yea it can get challenging also after a certain period and definitely will want to see this game get concluded as this one has tons of promise. So kinda curious if you thought about it, on how many episodes you'll have or is it early to ask considering the game is only in ch3 as of now? But yep besides that kudos for all the work done

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

I do plan to cover a good bit of two college football seasons + some of the offseason stuff, along with the draft. Obviously there'll be stuff with LIs, which is going to take the majority of screentime. But I won't be going in depth with every game, there'll be quasi-time jumps (e.g. 3 games) that skim over games that aren't super important.

Each season will roughly be 5 episodes, depending on file size. I can't and won't give a hard answer. There's still a lot of story to tell, even if the pace starts picking up after Season 2 starts. But it's not going be stretched out to some obnoxious number, either.

That is a fair enough answer yea something like 3 seasons would be around 15 episodes which is like a wow treat at this quality of production and perhaps by then the story would be nearing it's epilogue too. But indeed can understand the part of not giving a hard answer which is again fair enough.

Thanks for replying back Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

It is confirmed that we will not be expelled in the first year :PogChamp:.

I think since they are dedicated to playing football, it doesn't matter what they study.
