I agree. However, I did wish we had a choice there. But I just rolled with it.You're actually bending your knee and creating a patch just because these snowflakes can't handle the writing?? Shame..

Going forward, there'll be choices for that type of content. Honestly don't remember why I didn't for that one.I agree. However, I did wish we had a choice there. But I just rolled with it.
No worries, bro. I just rolled with it as I figured it wasn't that huge of a deal.Going forward, there'll be choices for that type of content. Honestly don't remember why I didn't for that one.
Dev admitted he could have added a fuck off option for ReneeI wish we had more control in that scene, and tell Renee to get the fuck outta there, if she's not a LI, then i don't want her touching my girls, simple as that. If you plan to do anymore scenes like that, you should at the very least make it avoidable.
It was hot in my opinion tho. I mean it's casual sex in a party.Going forward, there'll be choices for that type of content. Honestly don't remember why I didn't for that one.
A lot of people feel that way. I don't, but it really wasn't such a huge problem for me. Like I've said, I just rolled with it.It was hot in my opinion tho. I mean it's casual sex in a party.
i was joking idk about the other guyAre you guys serious? There have been a few over the years. Even though I'm not white, there have been a few great CBs that were white. I'll name one: Anthony Cioffi. You guys can do your own research for more if you want. As for the reason white CBs aren't more prevalent in college or the pros is up to debate. Whites are capable, hell, even when I was in HS, we had a white CB, we were even undefeated with him, then the new coach decided to switch him to safety in favor of a black guy and we lost the rest of the season.
My apologies then. But after an onslaught of that, was kind of a bad joke at a bad time.i was joking idk about the other guy
awesome ty for answeringPoor thing. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. But if it changes anything, I have a little censored patch coming for people who can't handle it.
But you gotta love the whole right wing spiel some people are coming up with for cracking jokes. What part of any of that is right wing? Not to go wildly off topic here, but the first one is a joke, and the second one was common sense despite the media pretty blatantly lying about it. Just because you disagree doesn't make me some Trump-loving far right extremist.
The staff who moved the thread (not blaming him/her) didn't copy the whole thing from the dev thread they took it from. The girls on the banner (and Sky) are LIs.
But isn't Ivy the one with the dick?I'm not removing it. Just adding an alternate scene with Ivy alone.
Yes, Ivy is the trans LI. Dev is adding modifying her scene with an alternative option where the MC tells Renee to leave so he can fuck Ivy alone instead of the borderline threesome they have. But isn't Ivy the one with the dick?
Sorry, Im confused.
I like the whole presentation of the VN and especially the characters. There were a few dialogues earlier that indicated that the dev's views, but I ignored them because they weren't as explicit and I thought they were trying to be ironic.I'm in the same boat. I wrote a review for the game this morning, but all the cancel-culture, social-media aspects of the story are dumb as hell and fit in with the rest of it like a fart in an elevator. It's weird enough that I've been thinking about it since last night.
What gets me is that it all comes hand in hand with some great character work. Ivy in particular is a surprisingly empathetic portrayal of a trans woman, and the scene with Yuna's dad is touching. Both their scenes are way better done than they had to be, considering that they're both there as porn justification. All the friendships hit, the dialogue's good, and the MC visibly has a number of serious character flaws that he tries to counteract with incredible warmth and generosity towards his loved ones.
All the cancel culture stuff falls absolutely flat, though, especially when you find out what it was that the MC actually did and why.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
More crucially, the MC being "canceled" doesn't matter at all, except for when it gives the characters/author an excuse to rant about it. For a "canceled" guy, the MC is still given an astonishing amount of money, trust, licensing deals, real estate, and consumer goods right off the hop the second he gets to Texas. It's like that political cartoon about the guy ranting about how he's been canceled on TV, then to a large audience, and then in a best-selling book, but Move the Chains seems to be absolutely serious.
I suppose we're arguing over a hazy, shifting definition, but generally, the point at which it becomes "cancel culture" is where the targeted person is ostracized, deplatformed, and/or suffers significant, immediate career damage. I'm thinking here of, say, Louis CK or Kevin Spacey. He did the deed in self defense and the evidence shows that but parts social media is still running with the old story, and some of them are real loud.
That's a part of it. "Court of public opinion" does cross over into cancel culture.
I can't really account for every panel out there. Both of mine are IPS and darker images appear bright enough to see, which is all I can really judge from.top writing top renders, love this start. only wish some renders were a little brighter, cant see shit a few times haha
The scene is great how it is. I think it shows how RenexIvy are an item already before that scene. They're just inviting the MC to their games. I you go with Ivy that far what's the point of Turn around 360º and walk away?I'm not removing it. Just adding an alternate scene with Ivy alone.
Planned for Episode 2. It's something I thought of right as I was releasing to higher-tier Patreons. It's definitely coming though.Think someone mentioned it before, but I'm going to +1 that I'd like to see some sort of compendium at some point. Partly for all the football terminology that I know jack shit about, but also with the large and ever growing cast it would be nice to open up a little character page to remind myself about them.
Appreciate that, and good to know! And yeah I get what you're saying in both areas. Regarding choices, like 95% of the MC's dialogue I was fine with. Just a couple moments stuck out to me I suppose. First one that comes to the top of my mind is the girl behind the gas station. I was like damn man chill out lol. Small things at the end of the day. Sometimes it's easy to forget we are playing a real character with his own personality/motivations and those don't always line up perfectly with how I as a player would view things. I'm interested in seeing how that morality system will change some things too.Planned for Episode 2. It's something I thought of right as I was releasing to higher-tier Patreons. It's definitely coming though.
There's already character menu (though still incomplete with names, where they're from, whether you're dating them or not (and/or have knocked them up), a bit about who they are, and some of their traits. Might be kind of out of the way, though. Game Menu (Right-Click) > Credits+ > Characters > Gender > Pick Character. Might add a shortcut eventually.
If you don't mind me responding to your review a bit (very well written, btw. Clear and concise.); Stuff like choices are a hard thing to get a grasp on when you don't have consistent feedback, especially on a 0.1. Too many and you get told that there's too many fake/meaningless choices, too little and you get told that there's not enough. Just takes a little while to strike that happy-medium sometimes. As for the sex scenes, I'd love to make them a bit longer (especially animation-wise), but right now it's pretty hardware capped. Each animation takes about 3-5 hours, sometimes six depending on the complexity. With an average of 3 or 4 positions (and speeds) per scene, it can get lengthy pretty quickly. Enough that it starts taking away a lot of time I can work on everything else.
