Think there is no need for gpt or something for translation, cause program does not keep the track of dialogs or character names, so gpt can't even say who is speaking - a woman or a man. Hes admitted before that he's really just trying to extract as much money as possible, but gets more subscribers by lying about it.
You do have to pay to use ChatGPT and DeepSeek APIs. I personally find this software more convenient and easier to use compared to let's say Translator++, it's totally worth the price. I'm from a 3rd world country and don't earn a lot, yet I can still afford it. You all need to stop being cheapskates
As I said, are you really sure that GPT translation is better than default translators? Maybe your language doesn't support different genders for adjectives and such, but purely the engine of this translator-injector-aggregator doesn't allow for preserving the context of dialogues, even though that's the most important difference between GPT and a regular translator. And it would be one thing if we were talking about some side-scrollers, but no, even without knowing the background of engines for creating novels, like RPG Makers, I can say that it might be possible to somehow manage to create a consistent translation.
And yes, it's cool that you mentioned your financial stability, but if you really started paying just because of GPT, and not for some idea or motivation to support the developer, then how is that different from mindlessly pouring money?
You're not one of those people who kept supporting Milfy City on a paid basis even after the developer packed up all their things and rode off into the sunset, are you? It happens that many just set up a paid subscription and then forget about it...
Although I said that, the program is truly top-tier in terms of usability, but I wouldn't pay for it unless it was "for the idea."
I had to go into windows security settings and put the whole mtool folder under exclusions so it wouldn't get picked up by windows defender. Worked after that

I downloaded the latest update today and I went to scan and 3 threats appeared, I know that some of them may be false but I want to know who uses it and if everything is still okay with the computer if it is really something that will not cause problems.

6 false positives are scary, no doubt, indeed, true, indubitably.

Well, can't really say for 100% sure, was just making an observation and being a sarcastic wise-ass troll about it, too... xD
Anyhow, I have the latest update and everything seems fine, also a 6/60 or whatever detection rate is 99,9999% of the time indicative of a false positive, especially if those "detecting" are...not the major players in the AV game (which is the case here) - at least in my understanding.
...if that puts your mind at ease.
But hey, one might never know, right?! lol

It's a real shame that you can't translate games over 10 MB for free. I haven't been able to play the game for a year because it's over 12 MB. Or is there another way to translate the game?

There is a new translator "libretranslate", you can run it completely locally, the quality is very similar to deepl.
The installation is very simple

Maaaaaaaan. I feel you. I have been reading my favorite vn using only google translate manually. This translator gave me hope, as it worked on other games I tried. After size calculation, the total size to be translated was around 12 MB and the limit was 10MB. Total bummer for me. Another things is, I have considered to subscribe to their patreon to just avail that 30 mb, but I currently have no access to payment options. This is frustrating.
