so it seems this game relies on buying credits from these ai things to run it. such a shame. no genuine decent tutorial on how to set this game up. which will isolate how many folk play it.

i can imagine it is amazing when you try it. but the menus help section dont really offer much insight on how to set things up

You can run the models locally and there's even tutorial if how to set it up within the game. If you want to use and online service then you obviously got to pay for their service as with any AI API request.

When it comes to local LLMs, what matters is the amount of VRAM. I can see that the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super has 12 GB of VRAM. Which means that, for the specific purpose of local LLMs, it's worse than a, for example, 3090. Depending on the size of the model and context window, 12 GB might have a difficult time running it.

hey, thanks everyone for the steam feedback — it really helped me understand what needs to be rethought and changed in the story part. also i played dispatch (highly recommend, easily top-5 of the year together with clair obscure) and got inspired •ᴗ•

the roadmap is still being shaped, so here’s a “pathway” plan for the next 3 months:

• existing branches will be brought together at a point where you can freely move around the city (an old plan i kept postponing)
• the prologue will be reworked and expanded
• story visuals will be unified in a single style, weak images/videos will be replaced
• the narrative will be rewritten and expanded in certain places for more depth
• character memory in the story segment (most likely with some limitations, but enough to keep immersion intact)

and the announcement for the upcoming update (most likely early next week):

• continuation of the morning story branches: at jo’s apartment (if u stayed with her and ava); and at fiona’s apartment
• improvements to the quest/task mechanics
• a bot that determines the current relationship status with characters
• editing of story choices
• journal update

I’d really love to see the narration method setting added directly to the in-game menu
Right now, when I ask the AI to tell the story from a third-person perspective, it works perfectly in the Pro version — but the Flash and Flash-Lite versions don’t understand the command and keep switching the narration to my partner’s point of view


It would be great to have this as a manual menu option, so all versions behave consistently ✨

Сейчас, когда я прошу нейросеть вести историю от третьего лица, про-версия всё понимает идеально, но вот Flash и Flash-Lite — вообще не понимают команду и продолжают вести текст от лица моего партнёра


Было бы круто сделать эту функцию отдельным пунктом в меню, чтобы все версии работали одинаково ✨
