It runs on Steam OS which is a fork of Arch Linux. It can run the vast majority of Windows software.

They are the first two chapters of the trilogy. Extra is a slice of life high school rom-com. Unlimited takes things in a slightly different direction. Not gonna spoil it, you're going to have to find out by yourself. Alternative is the third and final chapter of the trilogy and is its own separate game. Initially the entire trilogy was supposed to be part of a single game, but since Alternative is as big as Extra+Unlimited combined they decided to split them into two games: Muv-Luv (which contains Extra and Unlimited chapters) and Muv-Luv Alternative. Hope this helps clear the confusion.

the easiest is to disable internet/wifi then try to launch the game, I figured that out on accident....
