From what I understood, the Number Serum alters your DNA, maybe even your soul, and replaces the host’s ‘personality’ with someone else’s, like a forced reincarnation. That became more obvious in Moon’s chapter, when it’s revealed she and the MC were ‘husband and wife’ in a past life. But you don’t actually lose who you are or what you feel. It’s more like a temporary takeover, like someone else is behind the wheel for a while.

I was pretty sure it completely changed who the host originally was, but now I’m starting to doubt it. I think I need to replay it… Funny how it feels like it’s been forever, even though it hasn’t been that long.

I’d say they don’t completely replace the original host, but instead create a forced and sometimes chaotic coexistence. We’ve already observed several effects caused by these serums, many of which are physical or physiological, while others affect the psyche or personality, potentially severe or even critical. There are likely many more still to be uncovered. We’ll have to wait for Sicae to reveal the rest.

Fucking MCU has us trained for that shit.

It’s so hilarious I almost cried, from Aine’s dramatic: “Oh... my... god” to Gwen’s : “You don’t find that hot ? What’s wrong with you ?” and then Aine’s stunned reaction to Sky like : “Wait... you’re his sister**... and you...” haha

I really feel Gwen deserves her own solo ending, and it seems like the dev missed a great opportunity with all that family drama between her and her mom, since it would have fit perfectly here with just a few tweaks and some extra story content.
That’s just my two cents, though.
