Oh, it’s probably not happening anytime soon, there's still some time left, especially since we’ve got quite a long wait ahead for the next Sicae update ! x)

What I mainly meant in my previous post is that NiiChan will also need to go back to his other game, Sicae, to finish it once MBML is done, unless that happens first. Either way, he'll probably need to free himself from some constraints before jumping into any new projects.

As for Sicae's story, I don't know if it'll really be longer in terms of episodes. The game has a bit more to say story-wise than MBML, but in terms of episode count, it likely won’t be much longer than MBML. It should end up being pretty close overall.

Regarding MBML, you already have your answer since chapter 2 is the last one in the game. I’m not exactly sure how many episodes there will be, but probably around 7 or fewer ?

Chapter 2 is the last chapter of MBML, NiiChan even says so just a bit further up on the same page, man. x)

I thought Niichan was talking about Sicae cause you said "Niichan need to go back to Sicae, to wrap it up" so yes that confused me

No, I was the one talking about that. I just meant what he might do before finishing either of those two games and moving on to the next one, his future project.

I think there's some confusion here between "chapter" and "update." They're not the same thing. I have to imagine that MBML Chapter 2 is going to take at least a few updates.

I don’t really see why it’s difficult to make that distinction, chapter here is the same as season, broken down into episodes (or updates). The changelog’s in the OP, so if anyone’s wondering how the dev handles game updates, just take a quick look there. Honestly, it’s all pretty clear and the info is there, you just have to put in the effort to find it and read.

Well, I get it, but even without reading the changelog, it’s mentioned elsewhere, right at the very top of the thread, where the banner is. It’s also pointed out in the game when you move from one episode to the next, with transitions and end credits making it clear.

I mean, it’s almost everywhere. At some point, for someone to miss or not understand it, you’d really have to be doing it on purpose, I don’t know ! x)

6-7 by estimate. It could be more. I don't want to saturate each episode with arcs after arcs just so I can finish it as early as I can, so, yeah...

Ah, so that’s how it is. I had a pretty similar estimate myself. I’d say you don’t let anything or anyone rush your pace or hold back your creativity, and that’s a good thing here.
