Guys, there are plenty of games and stuff to do while waiting. :p You can try some new games or replay this one to refresh your memory, just saying. :WeSmart: ^^ I don’t get why anyone would rush a dev who’s already working on two games to get an update out faster. Keep yourself busy, it’s not that hard !

Sicae had not been developed yet the last time I played MBML but I noticed after perusing the Character Guide that many characters are in both games (or that was the impression I got). Can anyone tell me how/if the two plots tie together and if they do which game should I play first? I noticed that the characters I identified as being in both games are younger in age in Sicae even though that game came out after MBML. Is it a prequel or something? Should I play Sicae first? Does it matter?

Sicae is a prequel to MBML, but as I understand it the two are so independent of each other, just taking place in the same universe with some character overlap, that it really doesn't matter which you play first. At the moment, playing both concurrently, just like they are being developed concurrently, seems the logical choice.

Personally, I found it difficult to get into Sicae. I found it dry, confusing and slow-going, and at some point just stopped playing. But I seem to be a rare exception, possibly caused in part by the fact that I had just had an overdose of exciting MBML action and there was more exposition in Sicae than my ADHD brain could cope with at the time. I am certainly going to make a fresh start later.

You can play MBML independently, but when I replayed both games recently I did play Sicae into MBML and I think this helps you understand some concepts a bit easier + you will enjoy more some references later.

the dev has two games, this one and another one called "Sicae", there have been no updates on this game for a while because the dev was working on his other game: "Sicae", which was updated a few days ago, now the dev is back to working on this one
Dev also said it was the last update on Sicae for 2 to 3 years, so I would think there will be a couple of updates here before the dev goes back to Sicae.

Ello! sorry if this is a bit repetitive, how is the progress on the next update?
