I suppose I'm just somewhat saddened that what they possibly envisioned for her may not have the opportunity to be completely realised to its fullest intent. I'm not understating when I say that a tender game like this for M/S is so rare, exceedingly rare, so Klara's moment is something I anticipate like no other. ...

Going through the game at the moment kindly provided by Nii and the placeholder censorship is notably Sky as MC's childhood friend and Klara as MC's guardian (mother to only Sky obv !). Also making more side by side comparisons with latest uncensored too, and there are adjustments to dialogue here and there that also obviously retract the role tags prevously used and has dialogue mostly refer to each by name.

Wouldn't it be easier at this point to just force the Landlady / Roommate always instead of giving a choice? You still need to do the mental gymnastics but it's not that obvious if you don't play these games if the fear is that they may target the game anyway then perhaps you should simply do a SFW version show a black screen every sex scenes and put that one on itch.

Even beyond the incest which I don't even care, I am just not sure how changing this would make sense without making major rewrites to the story, like Hera's past, Sky, Jovian relationship with both Kei and Sky... At the top of my head, all of this wouldn't work the same.

I'll try this censored version later to see how it's going to work.

So, long story short, no more incest thing, but more romance thing. Got it. Ando not bad too: establishing the relationships was quite a bit of pain. With this, everything is much easier. More than a censorship, is more a bit of modification.

I can just say that I can rework the entire prologue, but it's not worth it too, man...
The game is almost done anyway.

I just need to find the best dynamic between Kei, Sky, Klara, and Jovian without breaking too much of the game as it is. That's all.

Well... if you're expecting something deeply tied to the I-word with Klara, no, that's not what I've planned for her. Her arc is all about her as a person and not the connection she has to somebody. I will not and never give her the Sky treatment and see her through like the woman that she is, with respect. Censored or not.

Goes the same with Sky for the entirety of Chapter 2.

Can we maybe give the man a break? Dude's had to completely reconceptualize the entire story -- a work he has poured his heart and soul into for multiple years -- in a matter of days. He said right at the outset that this was a quick and dirty edit to get the game compliant with stupid, terrible censorship rules so that he doesn't lose his livelihood. Let the man fucking cook a minute, ffs.

NiiChan is a solid writer and this game is his baby. It's not going to be what he wanted but he's doing the best he can under a set of really shitty circumstances. Cut him a little slack, huh?

I feel like youre adressing me as im the only one stating anything negative about the restructure of the story.

I did not post that to bitch about it/shit on Niichan, he asked about opinions about the quick solution and i gave my honest feelings about the changes (and enjoyed to speculate with other poster tbf). Im aware that it sucks, i would have prefered to say "Yeah its still perfect, great flow, dont worry" but feedback like that doesnt help anyone if its just mindless fanboyism lol.

I still love mbml and will keep subbing when updates hit but these fucking payment proccesors unfortunely created a problem for the story which isnt this easy to overlook.

But i think with a bit more time its still manageable to make it more cohesive without too much reworks required, its just not easy to figure out the best way to do that.
