I can't understand NTR tbh. The sheer number of NTR-themed games I'm adding to my ignore list is growing, and yet the formula never changes

People really seem to get off on humiliation and losing your partner, huh? It's the same plot of every game. Sad.

Those are "cuck" stories hidden behind label of Netorare. They are told from a "Netori" angle (ie glorifying the FC/Antagonist cheating) rather than the MCs slow burn finding out about his love being stolen. In Netorare, the MC doesn't know, doesn't see, only has signs via third party information that the FC may be unfaithful. The story is about the slow progression of that suspicion. The MC never approves or accepts the occurrence, and when he finds out, the story either ends with the MC leaving or there is a continuation for revenge plot.

I am not sure why most of the developers focus on MC as the main character in these stories, but favor the FC/Antagonist. People like these claim they identify with the FC/Antagonist, but I always found it odd in that if that was the case, an MC being the Bull, cheater, and taking away the FC of another would be a better story angle perspective, yet... they want the MC to be, which as I said, is odd... Either they don't understand the concept of netorare, or they are closet cucks lying to themselves about not "identifying" with the MC.
