Ehm. You do realize that to be able to progress that far, having the door opened and greeted by Barbara's little brother means that you already met their mother. The scene in the office? When you check out the pictures on the Director's desk? Thats the scene where you are standing there suprised that she is Barbara's mother?..which in turn unlocks the scene where the brother opens the door for you.where or when do i meet Barbara's mother when i ring the doorbell It's Barbara or her little brother that answers the dooor

Well... Actually you meet her brother when you go there show her the picture for the first time. That time you didn't meet her mother yet.
After you met her mother and go back to her, you won't meet the brother again.

I'm getting this bug where I have completed every other storyline but still not getting the fight in emily's apartment. Does anyone have a fix for this?

It seems something bugged with the time in the game. Try oil the door at 5PM, you should do it that time.
After you do all the photoshoot (4) for Emily, and at least 1 for your cousin go there at 5-6PM and you should find her door open. It you can't do it, please provide a save so we can check it.
Well, as far as I know, that's the end of that storyline for now.

Really?? Thats odd! For me, when i bring the photos of the poolscene, its always Barbs who opens the door.... weird. Of course i still need to play this through -once again- withouth bugs.
This happened to me as well, I think you had to wait to for a very specific hour during the afternoon... because I kept trying and hitting the top left clock to pass one hour and I believe it was 18:00 ingame when it worked.
