I've been a bit out of the forum the last days, so here comes the mega-answers
I should try to rejuvenate Betty like I did with Meemaw for a flashback scene. I haven't tried it with her model, though.
She became a nun in the 80s, after she finished med school. Some day
(soon) she will finish explaining her story. She started after the kidnapping, but she didn't go deep about it.
As Vidal said, the game is thought to be coherent with any combination of girls including monogamy (and celibacy) paths. There are some mistakes in the early chapters monogamous routes like, if you are mono-dating Norah, telling her you keep your options open (although it's justified because she didn't agree to date the MC at that point).
The issue I see with monogamous paths is content. Kim, for example, isn't in a relationship with the MC yet, so a monogamous playthrough with her wouldn't have any lewd content (beyond some topless, Kim's and other girls).
Or imagine even a monogamous playthrough with one of the girls yet to arrive. You would play 70-80% of the game as the celibacy path.
The next game will also be (if everything goes right) a harem game (with monogamy in mind since the start) in a different setting, but I have in mind a story about a single-girl game for the future. Perhaps the third game or a parallel game while doing the second. There's still time to change my mind about it, though.
In the patched version, yes. In the unpatched version, no.
She wasn't arrested, it was a misinterpretation by the players because she arrived with Alexia at the front door with her hands in her back and then I finished that update. In the next one was explained that Alexia only gave her a ride after her heroic saving of one of the drunkards in the "ecologist party".
It was hard in that pose
If anyone wants to do a signature, he can ask for background-less images of in-game pictures and I'll render them. Please, tell me the file name you want to have rendered for the signature.
Here in Spain, by law, a police officer is always a police officer even out of service. They can't ignore a crime committed in their pressence.
In this case, you are the against-the-rule ones. I've visited 25+ countries (work or pleasure) and every one of them except the UK (and I don't remember if Ireland) had their police officer carrying weapons.
Voted!
Let's sign a deal. If you guys get Daphne in #1 spot at the end of the survey, I will make a Halloween render and a Christmas render of her.
If she's on the podium (#2 or #3), I will do one of them.
The time jump is more of a time skip between the end of the game and the epilogue.
The epilogue will deal with how everyone's life went after the game ended (family, friends, antagonists, etc.), so a lot of time is needed to be meaningful. It also allows for the first batch of MC's children (if any) to finish college, so we can see what their future will be (with some in-game choices in the epilogue to shape their future).
Sophie won't be in the harem. She was never planned to. She, Maddie, and Megan's initial roles were as side chicks for the MC to have sex while the relationships developed. But the community asked for Maddie and Megan to be romanceable, so I removed Sophie and divided her screen time between the full-haremable Maddie and Megan.
They will arrive while the MC is in Aruba.
We have two time skips.
The one you say, when the MC goes to Aruba, six months more or less, and the one between the last full-fledged update and the epilogue, 22 years.
The first time skip will be
before the last batch arrives. That way, when the MC returns home, they will already be integrated into the family without the tedious introductions to everyone. And, more importantly, they have lived and grown to love the girls, know about the harem (if any) and the pregnancies (if any), and made a mental picture about the MC based on their own stori and prejudices.
There are several reasons for that.
* Baby models in Daz are hideous
* With girls and pregnancy being optional, it would mean a lot of work that wouldn't bring anything to the game, and a lot of players wouldn't see.
* The children (and their future) will be dealt with in the epilogue, where some of them (already adults) will be shown.
Seasons are a technical thing because of size, not narrative arcs. Android has a hard limit of 2GB per apk. Download services (like Mega or Pixeldrain) have a 5GB daily download limit for free accounts. So that means I can pack 11-13,000 still renders and some hundreds of animations in a single file. After that, I should split the game into a new season.
The first season had 11,254 stills and 210 animations (with 8,425 frames) in 17 updates developed in 478 days (+31 I took as holidays).
The second season has 12,842 stills and 199 animations (with 24,033 frames) in 8 updates developed in 348 days, but the packing is more efficient now (and the updates are bigger).
The narrative arcs are:
Act I (Done): The MC arrives home and starts the first relationships (Releases 0.1 to 0.9A - 11 updates)
Act II (past mid-way): The students and other characters (Meemaw, Betty, Amanda, Eva, and Kiara) arrive and the "family" is formed (released 0.9B to... 14 updates until now). It will end when the MC goes to Aruba and, to do that, he should be in a relationship with (and potentially impregnated) every girl in the harem. I guess it's still 7-9 updates to finish it.
Interlude: The MC is in Aruba for ~6 months to take control of the business (with input from the girls at home since they are also shareholders). One (perhaps shared with other Acts) update.
Act III: The MC returns home, meets/romances the new girls, deals with their issues and new problems, and has lots of pregnant (or not) sex with the first Acts girls. The "family" takes a more or less definitive shape. No idea how many updates will take.
Epilogue: Some time skips (adding up to 22 years) to show how the family, individual girls, MC, and friends fare in the future depending on the choices taken during the game. One BIG update.
I can't say how many updates it will take to get to the epilogue, because I'm not able to say how many until the end of Act II. The game was initially planned for 30-35 updates, later increased to 35-40, and then I stopped thinking in update terms long ago. I have a goal (the epilogue) and I don't want to rush things (but neither want to milk the game), so I will do as many updates as needed but not one more than necessary.
