I just check out games that have tags I like and don't ever look at the reviews. I know pretty quickly if a game and I are gonna get along, and bandwidth isn't an issue for me.

Tags are important. Helpful with negative selection. If there's something I don't like, I don't touch the game. Graphics are a positive choice. When I start playing, what matters is how the action develops.
I hate to say it, but it may be that to "fix" the review problem might take some work on our (freeloader fans) end. 
I know that when I imdb a show or movie and look at the rating, it is pretty much useless until the # of people who gave it a rating climbs into the thousands. Most of the first posters give a high/perfect score because they are the mindless minions of a franchise or were cast/crew/publicicsts for the production . Then the inevitable trolls/haters post their grades based on what they have heard about how this show/film will destroy their "pure" society. It's only when enough honest reviews are made that a rating slowly approaches a reasonable estimate of the quality of the content.
So here's the rough part: probably the only way to cancel out the troll reviews is for all of us to post honest reviews of all the games we follow/enjoy.
I've never posted a review and only looked at a few - mostly by accident when clicking the wrong link - so I'm as much to blame as anyone. And of course this would not solve the problem the recent debate here has discussed - when a dumb review says incorrect things and there is no way to correct that.
But in the end fans posting realistic reviews would slowly drown out those malicious reviews and give those users who rely on reviews when deciding what games to try a more honest picture of what a game is. I am not someone who relies on reviews, but I think I will make an effort from now on to post an honest review for my favorite games, if only to make sure one troll wih an agenda can't cause a game not get played by users who would like it.

Helping people is a very hard job to do - Batman and Superman have so little family or relationship time that Bruce has to fake orgies by throwing money away even tho he is beat most of the time from his batman adventures and he literally sleeps like a rock, when he is not binging evidence in the cave. Superman is even more out there in the sense that he literally has to use his superheo time to meet Lois and be a family with her by saving her or taking here places he goes hero at.
White knight is a state of mind - it is the opposite to a whoremonger / ladies man / manwhore where the hero simply does the saving, not the coming on to girls hard part of enjoying girls company.
Making pure stories where human being is the plot and the reason and the endearing part of the intrigue, that is hard - you have to steer clear of many pit falls of strong arming some characters to get a scene going.
Yet MC went beside himself and made this whole game possible.
Can you do something like that? Would you?

This is not a place to ask for reasonableness. Haven't you learned that by now? It protects those that are unreasonable and punishes those that try to address the situation.

That's an insult to monkeys.As I've come to realize, after a bit of a heated discussion with a mod, they basically make up their own reasons to delete stuff they don't like. While they base their own decisions on the actual rules, they override that by how they personally interpret the rules.
It's like givin a monkey the power of editing.

But of course that doesn't mean you won't have your review deleted for "violating the review rules" anyways.
The whole situation reminds me of police departments without an Internal Affairs division. A small group of individuals get to decide what is truth/reality on this site, but who holds them accountable?? You know, there absolutely ought to be an expression about the relationship between power and corruption...

As someone who grew up in both North Tijuana (better known in the US as "southern San Diego") and the greater Los Angeles area, that was my assumption, too. It has a pretty specific meaning here in the US (it's not at all a derogatory term, if anyone was confused).

"Cholo" is here in the south cone (Arg.Uru,Chile) just a nickname, in Peru, it is the way how they call the Indegenous, depending on the tone and context if it is derogatory or not,

Yeah, it's more a subculture amongst primarily Mexican descended folks in the Southwestern US, for us here.

I feel a bit brutalized. No, not even Vaseline will help.
Having an opinion, is fine and dandy. It is even recommended.
When you impose a gag on pointing inconsistencies, lies, misinterpretations or plain malevolence, the opinion loses all importance and/or relevance. Suffocating dissent, is quite good as a means to create dissatisfaction, disinterest and apathy. It is no longer a discourse.
Each day it becomes less interesting to even bother...
