Trope95 I've been meaning to say, I remember you being somewhat worried about how people would react to what Debbie does in this update, but I haven't seen anyone even mention it at all let alone complain about it.

Thanks, but opening it on a linux machine with the archive manager, it just shows as an empty file and nothing gets extracted. I found a post saying to create an empty file called patch.txt in the game folder. It all seems to be working properly

Only two players (besides my wife) have complained, one said it felt forced and false and the other told me that Debbie hasn't any right to do that (he's not on Debbie's path).
If only two players complain, I'm happy enough.

Run through season 2 by right clicking on "skip" and you'll finish it in a couple of minutes. Also, it's NEVER a good idea to ask strange people on the internet to give you files.....

Beside, Kate's comment about the door does a lot to defuse the situation. It should not be taken too seriously.
The end of that scene shows that there are no negative consequences for any of the people involved, which shows that Debbie knew them well enough to avoid any undue stress.
