Since the use of celluloid film tape has been stopped, it is more difficult to show what the top -frame technique looks like. A long time ago I worked on animations, making subsequent traffic phases manually on foils. Now young people are almost not interested in anything and they don't really know how the world works.

I know there are some lovers of the old, but I have to say I really appreciate the Emma makeover. I wasn't so much sold on her at first, but she's right up there now and her looks help with that (her character and actions play the bigger part). She's been in two of my possible top three scenes so far (I haven't actually made a list, but there are three that stick out in my memory in particular, and Emma is in two of them). The DnD scenes could also get right up there, just for the multiplayer aspect, and she's involved there too!

I wasn't going to post my initial reaction...but now I feel the need to balance the scales of the Universe by saying I, for one, and VERY glad the bangs are finally growing out.

I applaud the diversity in characters in MD but I was definitely one of those who preferred Emma's original style and would love to see those bangs die a quick death.

While some may like the changes and enjoyed adding her to their harems (haremi? haremopuses?? haremopussies??? harem o' pussies ), to me the changes always felt like Trope Gaveth and then Trope Tooketh Away.

Personally I've always preferred women with shorter hair. It accentuates their facial features, and greatly enhances the look of their neck line. I even enjoy bald/shaven for what that's worth (and not just 'down there'). Would *love* to see a shaved/tattooed goth girl hit the list.

Hey, to each his own and I certainly hope there is never a woman out there who doesn't have several interested people making her feel appreciated because [CHEESE ALERT!!] what's on the outside is way less important than what's on the inside anyway, and all women are beautiful on the inside. The fact that not all the outsides appeal to me is more a me-problem than a them-problem, so I'm glad there are lots of us out there with different tastes.

C'mon gentlemen - let's class the joint up a little more than that, eh? I feel (hope) there is a pretty large difference between my wanting to Make-Emma-Great-Again and openly insulting all women out there IRL who choose to express themselves with a choice of personal style that isn't pleasing to all of our male gazes? For some women I have known those style choices have sometimes been intended specifically to avoid that male gaze because some of us have treated some of them disrespectfully enough to make them feel the need to. We can be better.
