Interesting, so I'll have to install it. I played a demo and the women are clones and Martha is supposedly like a stepmother, but she doesn't share a bloodline with anyone. Maybe those details will be changed in the game. By the way, I speak Spanish, and the translation work is perfect, not like other translation patches that translate idioms and vocabulary literally and then the narrative doesn't make sense in many scenes. But here I realized that they've done a great job.

Regarding the patch, it changes Martha to MC's biological mother, Norah to your biological aunt, and several other LIs to your sister and cousins. There are still women that are clones however. I think you'll find that at least in this thread, it's generally the preferred version.
As for the other thing you mentioned, I'm fairly certain the game is originally written in Spanish before being translated to other games, so your observation makes sense.

As far as I know Trope writes it in both Languages, and then the English version passes trhough a few Instances Editor, and Proofreader.
