That's what I meant by "the family". The family is becoming a thing for everyone regardless of the MC being in a relationship with any of the girls. The MC and the girls help each other because they feel like a family. And what makes it touching is their individual stories. I can say I cried writing some scenes (a single tear or two

) because of their stories. Eva and Amanda's made me cry. Kim's made me cry. Martha, Sam, Betty, and Norah's made me sad. Kiara and Eileen's made me angry. And so on. I wanted to punch every antagonist (Jack (Erika's ex-boyfriend), Jonas (the Dean), Kevin (Scarlett's mother's boyfriend), Eric (the "bad" clone during the hostage situation), or Solomon (Kiara's husband)). I cheered for Betty and her rolling pin.
