I still have some of the update to play. But man do I love the Betty scenes. I am also loving the little scenes of the girls and some of their day without the MC present.

It's because the leaker was on Patreon and not on Subscribestar, and The Ones Who Shouldn't Be Named Or Criticized are lazy enough to not go to Subscribestar after I liberated it there for the free tier, get it, and update the links.

Greetings and salutations!
Been a long while since I've been really active on this site or in any thread, but finally able to get back into it.
Picking up where I left off, which was this release: MyDorm-v0.15.1-S2C3.1-pc
As you can see, a wee bit behind the times. Looking at all the stuff with patches and mods, and trying to make sense of it all because we now have three different release sets and all manner of potential extras, is this statement accurate:
If I download "MyDorm-v0.20.1-S2C8-pc-FullQuality.zip" that is all I need - the WT and other Mod elements, including the "relationship toggle" are all in that package - I just unzip and play, correct?
That seems to be the case based upon the historic download files on my external, but with all of the crap I've run into in other VNs (mostly associated with changes to RenPy version and reworks for fucking Steam) I don't want to do what happened with another VN just yesterday and find out that the rework borked old saves and that the bugfixes and patches are still not quite working for everyone.
If someone else asked the same somewhere along the way and I missed it:

First of all, welcome back!
For season 2, you do indeed only need to download that file, the walkthrough etc is all included. One thing you do have to do extra to enable the relationship toggle is to place an (empty) textfile named "patch.txt" inside the "game" folder.
For season 3 you ofc have to do the same but I think that speaks for itself.
The Steam version will have that patch file by default, the reason this one hasn't is because it's the Patreon version.

EDIT: I must have done that before since the file was in the game folder of the version on my external. Why is there still an ".rpy" ipatch linked to the front page, I wonder. I didn't think one was needed in Season 1, but that's been a while.

I never used that particular file myself since I always went to the multi-mod page but as I understand it that was the original incest patch for season 1.
For now season 1 still needs the walkthrough & incest mods but Trope is working hard to convert that season to the season 2 & 3 framework so everything works the same. The converted version is what will be released on Steam.

The patch.rpy worked for Season 1, since it only changed a variable. It continues to work for Seasons 2 and 3, since those seasons only look at the existence of a file named patch.rpy or patch.txt, not at its content.
The WT always was natively included. It didn't belong to any mod.

Because I was a player before a dev. Doing a walkthrough while writing the code is very easy. I don't know why other devs don't do it. The mistery shoud be in where the story goes, not in what an obscure choice will do down the road.Huh, things you learn.

To be fair, Riam created the new interface and integrated it at my request. I wouldn't have been able to do it without delaying the start of Season 2 a lot.

If you mastered the transfer from S1 to S2 there should't be any problems. could be that you have to set the language back to english though , there is a pdf guide linked in the op or ask us we help you, and then make fun of you as you already know
