I have recently arrived here. I know I used to love the soundtrack, and now it's pretty shitty for me. That's all I know and I don't read 1200 pages of posts.

a stupid question and I expect an obvious answer. The soundtrack of the first chapter was outstanding. Then it fell flat. It was a rights issue, wasn't it? What a shame.

Most of the music in Season 1 was reused in Season 2/3, except for the songs with lyrics. I bought the rights for all of the not-free tracks (most of the ones with lyrics weren't free to use), but having people complaining about not being able to read while listening to someone singing was... weird. I decided to stop using them to avoid some complaining.

Fuck, couldn't you collect everything in an excel and share it?

Excel only accepts around 1,000,000 rows per sheet, so not enough space to collect every nitpicking.
And if I had compiled and shared it, someone would have complained they couldn't open Excel files so big on their 20 y.o. computers. Or that I shouldn't use Excel and should use another software. Or that they don't have an Office license and I should compile it in a plain text document. Or...

Punched cards work better. Analogue so they aren't influenced by magnetic fields. Also all you need to read them is a computer the size of a room.

But... If I've never played the game, can I not just download the one latest file and then play it from start to finish?
Or what do I gotta download to do that? I'm not tryna have 3 different folders for the same game, just with different versions, and have to do some copying and pasting magic when I get a certain point bruh. Please tell me that's not a requirement lmao.

Also..... what purpose does knowing what specific things people cried about and nitpicked the game for have? Really. Do yall have nothing better to do? No shit nobody with a life is going to scroll thru 1200 pages of some hentai game forum just to read about people complaining about shit. That doesn't sound fun at all. That's just cruel and unusual punishment. If you hate yourself, and have absolutely nothing else better to do or to live for, then sure, by all means. Go for it. Lmao. If you are new to My Dorm, the recommended way to play it is:
Download and play Season 1 until the end.
The game will do an autoexport (it can fail depending on your Android device)

I'm on windows tho, if that matters at all or changes anything. I used to have a phone dedicated to games like this, but not anymore. I'm most likely gonna turn my current phone into one strictly for computer games once I get a new one, just for the portable aspect and saving some space on my PC's hard drive.
The phone I have as well/the new one I get soon would be used for that, except they decided to get rid of sd card slots for some dumb reason a few generations ago ): Having 1 tb less storage than I would like really blows XD I could download all these H-games, as well as the different seasons without worrying about space too

The Steam version (and with it the one that will have the gallery) is being proofread. It's a big Word file.

And I'm interrupting poor Crow with new updates every seven weeks, so he has made around a quarter of the proofread.
The rest will be a bit easier for him, since he already proofread it, but he's an even better proofreader now, so he will re-proofread it. Season 1 is planned for release on Steam in August (I changed it recently).

Looking forward to it. With a gallery like yours you can relive the whole game by cutting out the less important parts after reading it the first time. I have never seen a gallery like that. It is not a gallery but a summary that makes you relive the important things by starting them from the right place. I don't know if you made it up or if there are others around. I've never seen it.
