I think it's something on your end. No one has complained before. On what platform are you playing?
It's Win 11, but I think the game could not be optimized for a laptop with 8GB of RAM. Sometimes the gallery itself freezes, some time when fast-forwarding in a replay it will freeze. Just a heads up on a possible issue going forward.

The actual gameplay (outside of the gallery) was working fine.

I hope you mean 8GB not MB... :KEK:
But yes... 8GB RAM with a modern Windows is not what you should be doing.
Buy yourself some RAM, it's not that expensive.

Ha! Good catch on your end, my bad. I corrected it. The problem with that thinking is that a lot of the games on this site run fine with that amount and have no issues. I usually find it with games who cram their gallery on one page.

That's the thing though... the problem you have exists because you have barely any RAM.
I have 32GB and no problem at all. 8GB is cool if you maybe do some MS Word and a bit of surfing.
16GB was the standard for many years, now 32GB is slowly becoming the norm.
You should at least get 16GB (2 x 8GB, you probs have 2 x 4GB).
It seems to me you laptop is very old.

My advice:

1. Get an SSD if you don't have one.
2. Get 16GB of RAM.

Those two things can breathe new life into old PCs/laptops.
The third optional thing would be switching to a lightweight linux distro.

If you do #1 and #2 your old laptop will be like new, with #3 even better and you'd never have any stutter or lag in those games/AVNs again.

Thanks! Any favorite scene?

Wellington and Melbourne are on the list (with their real surnames). ;)
Churchill, Disraeli, and Bonar Law are too easily identified, and I didn't want to show my cards too early. Bonar Law would be Law only.
Newcastle never was on the list (it would be Pelham-Holles, too pompous).
Palmerston was on the list with his real surname (Temple), but Patricia was replaced by Charlotte (Robinson).

Those surnames for Amanda and Eva would be a clue TOO subtle.
loved meemaws date but my favorite scene was probably the none date, loved all of it,

Could be many things. Better processor, better hardware configuration, updated drivers, luck... computermagics... who knows.
If you run W11 with 4GB then you're really scaping the barrel.
It's the min, MS allows and not something that actually should be done.

I run W10, that would be the difference then, as for prosessor , and rest of Hardware, they are a loan from the Precolumbian museum of computing .

Well all I'm saying that getting at least 16GB and an SSD can do wonders for old hardware, especially laptops where the RAM and hard drive are the only things you can actually upgrade.
