Coincidences ft Stacy and Beth from Dragon of Callon Valley
Coincidences do happen.
Our beloved mother and daughter visit a psychologist to treat their addiction to cosplay and lingerie, and there they meet the beautiful Beth and Stacy. Dressed exactly like them! And, obviously, they start to bond.
Norah is loving her new dance partner, the gorgeous Beth, while Erika encourages the amazing Stacy to take the floor.
Both Stacy and Beth are from Dragon of Calon Valley, by my friend Fire Valley Games.
Can you guess which render is his and which one is mine?

You can wishlist Dragon of Calon Valley on Steam .
And My Dorm is also on Steam (sales start on October 27th)

Are the file names a suggestion or a misnomer? ;)

Now that we know the answer, it's easy to say... It almost feels like cheating. Anyway... yes, I would have guessed correctly, and my reasoning would have been entirely in line with FG's. However... there are inaccuracies in Trope's render too.

Black arrows: those shadows should have been parallel

Red arrows: where do those reflections come from?

Green arrows: why are the reflections of the diplomas perfect, given that the other reflections have no reason to be there?

Plus a few other minor things I noticed, but they are completely secondary

Black arrows: The shadows would be parallel with a single point of light. In that scene, there are six different sources of light (seven if you count the lamp in the corner). You can see the shadows Stacy (rightmost girl) casts go in another direction (towards the wall) because she's affected by a different source.
Green and red arrows: The table glass material isn't perfect. It has two surfaces, the upper being smooth and the lower refracting the light in a curved way. The upper red arrow isn't a reflection, but a curved refraction of the carpet (note the same pattern). The lower red arrow is reflecting a curved reflection of the ceiling or a curved refraction of the lower tray, I guess.

You're right, zooming in shows that it's the carpet and not the piece of decor near the wall.

He never had graying hair, so he couldn't cut it. PAFO.
When I read PAFO, my first thought was, " Fresh Prince face.jpg You just said to him "Pathetic ass! Fuck off!".......... and then it occurred to me that you were being much nicer (and more practical) than that, and actually saying, "Play, and find out".

Though, it could also be "pissed and fell over"... which, as we all know, describes someone who is "I can't lay on the ground without holding on" drunk...

;)

As a lifelong fan of Robert Jordan, I loved his answers in forums when asked for details in upcoming books. He usually answered RAFO (Read and find out), so I adapted it ;)
