I'm in my 50s and I stopped trying to understand slang or jargon.I'm in my 40s, so i'm already there. Skibidi toilet or whatever the frack thats supposed to mean. I just ignore them, to be honest.
In the last few years, the "bro" at the end of each sentence has become a fashion. They talk in Spanish and add a "bro" (in English) at the end. I'm not talking about "neighborhood or street guys" (those are still using the "brother" or "cousin", in Spanish, at the end of sentences). I'm talking about guys with 20-25 from middle-class families who feel cool talking like that. Every time I hear it, it sounds so weird...
Maybe I'm used to hearing it in English and it's the combination of Spanish and English that I find weird (it happens in other areas too). Or maybe I'm too old.
