Leaving Patreon isn't as easy as it looks. My first (and only one as of now) suspension there was in July 2024, so less than a year ago. Players who paid for a yearly subscription BEFORE (May, June, July) that suspension still have an active subscription. What do I do with them? Do I scam their money? What about players who got a yearly subscription after that (today, for example)? That reason by itself prevents devs to abandon Patreon (if they want to be fair with their audience and aren't forced to abandon it).Personally, I would love to see a Kiara/Eileen scene. But it's Trope's game and so his choice to make. It is what it is. You can't please all of the people all of the time. But I think it's probably time to ease off the knee-jerk blaming of Patreon for everything in May 2025.
I have posted many a rant about Patreon and their cowardice in caving to the demands of payment processing services (letting the middle-men who contribute NOTHING run the asylum), and even worse stabbing their existing creators in the back with the sudden radical change in their T.O.S. after those creators helped make the platform successful in the first place. But it is only fair (and balanced?) to point out that enough time has passed now since the Great Purge that pointing the finger at Patreon as 100% responsible for how games are today is no longer really fair.
If a dev leaves X or Y or Z out of their games today, I think it's fair to say that it is a dev choice to do so because they want to be on Patreon, not Patreon 'forcing' any dev to leave anything out. The censorship vs. income choice is a difficult one, and one that causes every dev a lot of angst, and it is a choice only they have the right to make and we don't have any grounds to complain about whatever choices they end up making for their stories. But outside of shameful sneak-attacks by content platforms, it is a choice made by devs, not platforms. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Solomon will appear in the next update (0.26). Alexia's tasks for him required some time.I was watching some replays again. A wonderful gallery, by the way. And I was wondering, in the next update will there be additional scenes of Solomon and the tasks Alexia will give him? Solomon's path is one of my favorites at this point. Another path that I hope will eventually open is Aaron's. I would love to see Martha's reaction when she finds out who he really is.
Looking forward to it. Even stellar....... I like it.Solomon will appear in the next update. Alexia's tasks for him required some time.
Aaron will have his stellar moment down the road, but it won't be soon.
I'm married and I have a step-son. My brother is alive and has a collection of relationship failures.I was wondering, how is your family composed? There are phrases that you write from time to time that make it very clear that you know what you are talking about when it comes to relationships between women. I am not talking about women sharing a man but generically about relationships between women
you can totally see ittaught me a bit about how relationships between women work
As I said (maybe not loudly enough), no criticism at all was intended. Every dev's life and circumstances are different, so it is not any of our places to judge or even comment on difficult choices creators are faced with. Nor do any of us need or deserve explanation. I simply thought it fair - since I have been as loud a critic of Patreon as anyone - to point out that we know what they are now and using their platform (along with their T.O.S.) is a business choice.Leaving Patreon isn't as easy as it looks. My first (and only one as of now) suspension there was in July 2024, so less than a year ago. Players who paid for a yearly subscription BEFORE (May, June, July) that suspension still have an active subscription. What do I do with them? Do I scam their money? More. You know I'm a number freak and I like to be transparent. Well, before that suspension (June 2024) my income was divided 83.1% from Patreon and 16.9% from SS. Earlier months had similar numbers 82.X/17.Y%. Out of 21 months, only in 4 of the,m SS reached 20% and its max was 24.7%. The suspension month SS went up to 24.1%, the next month (August) it peaked at 26.5%. The last month (April) it was down once again to 14.7% (the lowest in the last 9 months was 13%). That means people like Patreon more than SS (even if I am one of those weird devs who publish exactly the same on both platforms). Who would give up more than 80% of their income voluntarily?
More. There are players who don't like the incest version but want a coherent story. Those players (20% approximately based on my last poll on Discord) deserve the same respect as players who like incest. So, having an incestuous relationship in the unpatched version is out of question. I broke every possible relationship in the unpatched version, but breaking some of them (especially Betty/Meemaw/Norah, Sam/Simone, Lisa/Debbie, and Kiara/Eileen) would make the story feel fake. And that has nothing to do with Patreon. Respecting those players is a design choice.
Having billions of possible X-somes (and I won't do all of them) means some of them won't ever happen. Keeping the non-incest version free of those X-somes (and, with it, also the incest version) is a small sacrifice.

Maybe, but, it was also a reaction to people complaining that the songs that were sung, distracted from the text. Or didn't fit. Or ______________ (insert the reason).a stupid question and I expect an obvious answer. The soundtrack of the first chapter was outstanding. Then it fell flat. It was a rights issue, wasn't it? What a shame.
Really? Absurd.people complaining that the songs that were sung, distracted from the text.
The same people who trip over their own feet if they move while chewing gum.Really? Absurd.
For me the first chapter was not that great. Yes it was good but when compared to the other chapters it wasn't that good. The soundtrack filled a lot of empty spaces and helped to feel emotions. I can't believe anyone complained about that. The same people who trip over their own feet if they move while chewing gum.![]()
Oh boy, you have NO IDEA the shit people complained to Trope about... You can't even begin to imagine.......
