Well TY, and I truly hope you have no lingering irritation. I don't even like it when
trolls take something I say in a negative way if I didn't mean it.
But I feel
awful when someone I respect and whose perspective is valuable to me thinks I was throwing shade at them when I wasn't.
I will try and be better about remembering that this is an
international community when it comes to my clumsy attempts at humor. The things that make me chuckle are always
hilarious inside my head, but often lose
a lot in the my-head-to-out-loud translation, but I definitely need to be more mindful that translating my weird brain into English is not enougth to be understood clearly by everyone here. You all are just so dang good wtih English that it is too easy to forget that some folks here may
not actually get obscure references to regional 3rd or 4th meanings for certain words, and so on.

what happened with the animations??? ...the motions are much too fast.
I do somewhat agree about the animation speed
I experienced, at least in the most recent update (I don't really remember previous ones feeling that fast). I know a couple of people with epilepsy, so I have gotten a liitle more sensitive to things that might bother them, and I was a little concerned during the
Eva scene at the beginning because I thought the animations felt like they were at 1.5x or 2x normal speed. Since it was a little off-putting to me I had a twinge of concern that someone sensitive to that kind of thing might be triggered.
It certainly didn't rise to the level of posting about it at the time, Trope, because
(a) only self-centered twats expect eveything to perfectly suit their individual taste, and so much about MD is so fanstastic that picking nits feels super-douche-y,
and
(b) I figured there was a decent chance that it was not a universal thing and
maybe my system setup was a contributing factor.
But if someone else out there is seeing the animations look a bit fast too, then maybe the issue is not isolated to just my ancient setup and may happen to other players with older hardware/OS combos too. So while I have nothing negative to say about MD whatsoever, I thought I should follow up
sergesan's post to let you know that there
may be some players out there who are seeing some of the animations accelerated in ways you probably did not intend. Not sure why exactly, or how common it is (maybe it's just
sergesan and me), and absolutely
not trying to poop on your pizza
(prettty sure almost all of us on either side of the Great Pineapple Debate can agree on NO to that particular topping). Just letting you know it might be a thing for a small number of players out there.
